I'm so happy that I purchased another cig last night cause today both complete set ups are just not Working! One battery keeps on turning on in my pocket and gets real hot, and the other battery didnt charge for some reason! One of my cartridges has foam issues and all the juice keeps disappearing and I am almost out of my portable supply. And the other cartridge is only half full with a different flavor that does not mix well with others! Another bad work day and I'm praying that I have enough to get me home!!! This is gonna be tricky. Hope the second half of the day isn't too brutal like the first half. (oh yum, now I just got a mouthful of juice that should have been smoked!!!)

Are they auto batteries? The drag sensor of autos can be damaged or made sticky if juice leaks onto the end of the battery. They can also sometimes turn on accidentally from wind or vibration. Buy manual batteries. Most people here use and recommend manual batteries.

Also - I had some problems with running out of charged batteries at work in the beginning. I would screw up or forget to charge one then the other would run out and I'd find myself with no charged battery. So I spent more money. I got more batteries, a full charging setup at work, a PT for at work for emergencies only and I now carry 2 complete ecigs, each w/ a spare charged battery.

I also find cartomizers to be a much more reliable way to vape and to carry filled. I use Boge 510 cartos (standard resistance) on 510 and Vapor4Life cartos on KR808D-1.

I always try and have a back up of some sort. Vapornine is having a 50% off sale with code crazy50 that will end soon. I picked up 2 5V Pass throughs for $15 shipped. PTs are great back ups. I have had several instances where batteries died, etc and was very thankful to have my PT in my car :)

I usually take a charger with me and plug them in anywhere I can. I ended up getting 4 510 Mega batteries and it lasts me a full 10 hour day now. Also, get a case for your ecigs. Manual or Auto, they can turn on in your pocket and make an atty taste burnt. If it's an auto, pull the battery off and (excuse the expression) suck an blow on the end of the battery until you feel that little pressure switch moving around in there. That should help loosen it up a bit. Cheers!

If you unscrew the atomizer or cartomizer from the battery that's turning on in your pocket it can't get hot and will save your charge for when you need it. Just take it off when not in use, put it back on when you need it.

It sounds like you're using an atty/cart setup. As Dormouse suggested, cartomizers are really the way to go when you're on the move.

Make sure the ends of your batteries and the end of whatever you are charging it on are clean and dry. Every time before charging a battery, make sure the end if dry and clean so you don't transfer juice film to the charger. Eventually that film will cause things to not charge. Re PCCs - super but not foolproof. You need to make sure you get the sign (on mine, a red light) that the charge really started and on some PCCs you need to remember to restart the charge if you open the PCC. Now when I am near USB or AC, I use those to charge.

Once again thanks for everyones replies. I have encountered my first dead atomizer after 2 weeks total usage. What a rip off!!!! My cig came with its own portable charging pack but i must have forgot to press the charge button. I think the other battery got juiced (it is not protected) which made it act all funny. I used the compressor at work to blow it out. (it acted more normal after that) Will definately be bringing more juice with me tomorrow, and hopefully my spare atty doesnt die also before my new cig comes in!!

That is my worse fear.. To be at work with Batteries dead and no juice.. My solution was to pick up a second starter kit. I now take to work with me. a total of 4 Batteries. 3 Atties, 3 tanks filled for my Ego-T and a 10ML bottle all in a case that is about the size of a large checkbook.

Be strong and stay cool.

Foxtrot did you buy that case from somewhere or make it. I have been looking for a solution on carrying cases and that sounds like it would fit the bill for me.
