Bleegh! I've had to pick up an analog again. :( Waiting on a delivery.. Two of the batteries (one blu and one 510) decided to crap out on me today. So I'm down to 2 half dead batts (1 510 and 1 blu) -.- The blu lasts me about.. oh.. 5 or 10 mins.. and the 510 lasts me maybe a half hour.. while both taking about an hour to an hour and a half to charge. -.- hate it hate it hate it!
And the Vapor production on the analog /sucks/ :(

Nah! I've got something coming to me Just.. not here yet.. and I doubt that they'd get here before it would. Thank you though. Just.. needed to vent. XD My equipment would fail right after I got the money to order some new stuff but before it actually got here.. and over a weekend. I really really appreciate it though!

I'm upgrading to the Silver Bullet. >.> Found a really good price on one and someone in Classifieds that was willing to hold it for me until my education benefit money hit my account. And now.. my SB is on the way! So! Of course as soon as I got the PM saying it had shipped and the confirmation number for it.. my damn manual 510 battery decides it's going to fubar and go always on. And earlier in the day one of my blu batts just.. stopped working.

Ugh, that's the worst! Well at least you know that you've got something great coming to you. I'm so afraid to try an analog again. I'm afraid if I have just one that suddenly my PV won't do it for me anymore. Because of that, I feel the need to prepare for a freaking apocalypse and I have too many supplies on hand. Better to many than not enough I suppose.

Also, lillith, I saw ecig kits at my local gas station the other day and as shocked. $40 for a crappy kit and only 1 batt and 1 atty, plus $8 for 5 pre-filled cartridges. Yikes! However, in a pinch, I'd rather do that than go the analog route. Again, I'm way too scared that I'd fall right back into that trap. I loved smoking waaaay too much when I was a smoker.

I've heard everyone say the same, that they've had an analog since and it was nasty. I am still scared. I had quit smoking for 3 years before my last stint that lasted 10 years, it took me all of 1 cig to get me right back to smoking. It tasted completely nasty at the time, but there was just something about it that hooked me. I just can't go there, even though I KNOW that it would probably be gross and just reaffirm the fact that it's not for me anymore. I don't want to be a smoker anymore. Never. I'm done. Though I loved it, I'm pretty sure I love vaping more. I don't want to chance bursting that bubble.

I.. am a heavy vaper myself. One reason I was so glad the wonderful seller I found held the SB for me. I'm pretty sure I got a great deal considering with the SB body She sent me 5 batteries and 2 chargers and a good deal of other stuff. Why don't we have instant transfer shipping yet?

That's so awesome that she held the deal for you. I've still not gone the mod route, but I am 99% sure that I'll be buying my first mod this weekend. Yay, I can't wait! Oh and I'm all for instant transfer shipping. If you can figure that out, I promise I'll love you forever. I don't have much more to offer than that, so that' all you get. :)

Have fun with your SB when you get it! I think that is one of the more sexy looking mods out there.

It's my birthday present to myself. I wanted something not /too/ big, something that would get to me quickly.. and something that was built to last. And seemed like the SB was the winner in all categories. All the reviews I'd seen of it were good. So! I picked the silver bullet! I was going to go with the Ego at very first.. But in the long run I think Mods turn out cheaper over a long period of time.. batteries for them don't usually run as much. So! Happy birthday to me a couple weeks early! No way I'm waiting to vape it until the actual day.

Happy early birthday! The SB was my first mod, too, and I love it! It's a durable beast. Then I got a Precious and I instantly fell in love. The precious uses the same batteries but is much, much smaller than the SB. I put away my SB and exclusively used the Precious. My fiance, who smokes, would often take puffs from my Precious (that doesn't sound right. lol) and told me the other day that if he had a Precious, he would quit smoking. Well, the Precious is $160 and is out of stock at the moment, so I told him that I would give him my Precious and I'd use my pretty pink SB. I had separation anxiety the first day without my beloved Precious....even called him to check on her. He went the first day without smoking but gave in on the second day. Now, he's smoking and vaping, which is fine I suppose but I'm just hoping that he'll make more of an effort to vape when he wants a cig.

I don't know why I'm writing all of this. The point is that I'm currently using my SB and I love it. I'm sure you'll love it too. ;)

I know for me, it's the "smoke"...I love the inhaling and exhaling of the smoke...so for me, the vapor has to be there. And as long as I have that, I'm so NEVER going back to cigarettes! :) I think I could give up nic right now and be fine...but I'm always going to want the vapor...and I'm so OK with that.

Give it time. When I first started I was smoking and vaping. Eventually I wanted the vape more than the analog. It was damn near effortless but it took a few months. The main thing is.. I never told myself I was /quitting/ smoking. It just happened. I didn't beat myself up when I had a cigarette. It was easier for me that way. A mental thing really. Then.. When I found myself going a full day without a cigarette even though I had them in the house.. I was all yay. When I finished that pack about a week later.. I just.. stopped buying cigarettes. There's nothing better than not getting that panicked feeling when you're down to like 2 cigarettes in a pack.

If he wants it to happen, it can. I've quit cold turkey several times, for long periods of time. This last time, I started smoking again after about 4 years of being a non-smoker, and decided there had to be a way to enjoy smoking, without slowly killing myself(I was a 3-pack-a-day smoker of Marlboro Menthol 100's). I've been vaping since March exclusively, and have had exactly 1 analog since then when my batteries died out in public the first time. I couldn't get 2 drags of it down, before I almost threw up, and had to put it out.

Point is, if he wants to, he can!
