I am not even 2 weeks old yet and I am all over the place shopping, pricing, ordering and shopping some more.

Hubby bought me one of those clear tank thing that goes onto a 510 bypass oh and he bought me the bypass too that day.. hehe.

I have 2 other different kits on their way too (Joy 510 & a KGO-T) - keep finding other stuff I want to get, I am a kid in a candy store right now. I want them all in all colours

I don't even know what they all do, how to use them or what they are for BUT I want them anyways.. lol

Anyone else did this?... Any advice for a newby?

Don't buy stuff from home computer, only while at work.

While at work, try and be busy so I have no time to shop...... clearly I keep failing as I keep ordering

Working from home at the moment... so that's not going to help me :(

I just try (and fail) to save money from not buying smokes and use that money to buy vaping toys. Seeing as I have spent around $450 in the last week - that's obviously not working as well as I would like lol.

Okay all joking aside, I set myself a limit on vaping supplies. $80-100 a month (way less then what I was spending on smokes). 1 month its supplies (carto's/attys/DT's/etc....) next month its juice. Been working great for me.

Honestly, now that I have found what hardware I like to use and what juice I like to vape I am sure my expenses will drop drastically.

Good advice there actually - thanks!

I'm afraid it only gets worse. Much worse. Especially once the juice hunt is on. Next are the many, many types of mods and tanks and drip tips and cartomizers and then some people even get into modding. Endless. I spent about $1500 in my first month back into vaping (about 6 months ago) after a long absence from this forum. I knew my CC details off by heart within a few days.
Now, when I and my bank balance needs an urgent break, I avoid this forum for a bit, because when I'm here, I always see things I HAVE to have immediately :). But it is all worth it. It is a fascinating new hobby and it keeps me from smoking and ECF is a fun place to hang out with great people. I just need to control my spending and only allow myself ONE new mod every three months - as a reward hehe....

mojojo, I'm also a newby and I hear ya!! I got my eGo C kit and 2 juices last Saturday and I've been sooooo tempted to buy all kinds of stuff since. Here's how I look at it ... I'm new at this and there are all kinds of really neat techie things out there in PV land. I could spend all kinds of money exploring but I think getting to know more of the intricacies of what I have now is a lot more beneficial to me. This is just my opinion (and a very boring one at that I freely admit ;) ), but I've found I have so much to learn still about what I have that it's not time to buy more yet. Your mileage may definitely vary.

Having said that, I'm waiting for a much bigger and more varied order of juices to come in this week and have a list for accessories to buy this weekend. Happy vaping mojojo!
