I wondered if you had gone to Vapefest, Roly. Some of my friends on the AAE-C wanted me to go, but the trip and the expense would have been too much for me.

Yes - I'm glad I made the trek up to the Midlands. I guess you Statesiders will laugh, but you think twice about a 150 mile trip here, the roads and traffic are so bad. In the end I left at 6am Saturday morning and it only took me 2.5 hours, so not too bad.
Allowed me a quick doze in the car to let the early mayhem subside before I went in. The first 30 got a free boxmod courtesy of Gary D, the first 250 got a free 30ml bottle of Vapefest Velvet courtesy of TW and DV. The mad scramble was worth watching from a distance!

Any news on a likely venue for the forthcoming VapeFest? I was at the 2011 and it was choc-a-bloc busy in the main room... lol, the stench of 2nd hand RY4 was overwhelming, too... But seriously, it looks like with the explosion of interest in vaping, VapeFest 2012 is gonna need a much larger venue than The Moat House...
Probably needs somewhere that can handle 500. Not too many cheap places around like that. Or split it over 2 days but that won't be so popular.

I dunno, perhaps there could be added interest if it was over a full weekend... wouldn't that mean that there may be a certain number of people that might be able to make the second day, if the first day was out for them...? Interesting notion though, the possibility, no matter how unlikely, that a two day event may be considered...
