Hi i have recently switched to an ego kit, after doing lots of research it became obvious that i wanted a cleaomizer because i liked the idea of being able to see how much liquid i have left.

I also found that the new ce5 rebuildable clearomisers are a great improvement over the old ce4's and the non rebuildable ce5's.

So i now run an ego 650mah battery with a rebuildable ce5 clearomiser i have also changed the coil/atty to a 1.8ohm low resistance and i am using 70pg/30vg juice/liquid but i add some extra vg, usually i fill upto the 1.2ml line then top up with vg and give it a couple of tips upside down and roll it around to mix. this extra vg just smooths the flavour and adds some extra vapour and allows me to get the throat hit to my own personal liking.

This setup works really well i find the ce5's really easy to fill up, the battery lasts all day, the flavour throat hit and vapour are excellent, the 1.8ohm coils allow me to take quicker harder draws just like you would on a real cigarette while still producing loads of vapour and throat hit.

I hope this helps people.

I use my eGo+CE4/coils when working/driving, I agree that the ability to replace coils is handy, and a cost-saver if you are pinching pennies. It doesn't seem like alot at first, but when you are throwing down $5.00 (or more) for a full unit, but can get more coils for half that amount, the savings do add up.

Plus removable coils are easier to clean (can take the clear cover off to dry burn w/o risking breaking the cone).

My first CE4 was the short wick type, worked ok, but with alot of tipping. I picked up a few off brand that had the longer wicks, were my favorite CE4 until these replaceable coils came out.

I can confirm that the Vision and SMOK Redux coils interchange between models, at least on the ones I have received. Most places I look have no price advantage between the two tho.

Have you tried any of the eGo carto tanks yet? I've tried a few using some Boge LR 2.0 cartos with a self-punched hole, works pretty nice if one leans more towards cartos and still wants to stick with an ego.

That's pretty much the setup I have ordered. Ego T with 900 mah batterys and the new ce5's. Can't wait to try it!

You will love it although i found the 900mah battterys a bit to long for my liking, im happy with the 650mah batterys and i also use a smaller 350mah mini ego battery for stealth vaping.
Check out the following link for the 1.8ohm coils for the ce5's its well worth fitting these instead of the standard 2.4ohm ones more vapor and smoother more flavor flavor lol.

REDUX Rebuildable EGO Clearomizer

Click the drop down box and select the 1.8ohm atomizer :)

The Vision Ego's at low resistance have breathed new life into the Ego as far as I'm concerned. My wife moved to an Ego 18650 and even at 3.3 volts is getting a satisfying vape at 1.6-1.8 ohms. I use 3.7 volt mods most of the time but always have an Ego battery with me just in case, and there's little dropoff in my vaping pleasure when I use it. I'm going to try the Kanger T2 soon to get greater capacity and cheaper replaceable heads.

I just ordered the new T3 Ego bottom feed clearomizer, with replaceable atomizers. I have been using the T2 with success, but want to try the bottom feed design. I use a 650mah twist at work with a 650 knockoff as backup, and a Zmax at the house. I have several 1000mah twists and ordered a Vision Spinner, which comes in tomorrow. All in all, the ego works on the go.
