UltraMax Rocks! What about UltraLite?

Actually for stacking attys and other stuff. I am a HUGE fan of the box in general but would like to see one I could throw random stuff into on my desk.

Send me a PM with your phone number and we can talk about it. I'm on a plane this afternoon but will be back on the grid this evening around 8pm PST.

To answer my own question. The Ultralite is GREAT. I find myself using it alot in social situations, dinners and bar visits because of the size and the case is quiet enough to keep in my pocket, now for an ultra and I am done.

Glad to hear you like the UltraLite just as much. Definitely not the powerhouse pv like the UltraMax, but it was never intended to be. We made it exactly for what you use it for. Ultimate portability. Congrats and looking forward to you becoming the first owner of all three.

Cheers

Not an issue with the LR atty's. Don't expect stellar battery life, I get about 3-4 hours but i am a light / moderate vaper, and I use it primarily at dinners and the like. You can def tell the fall off point in the batt, just keep a few charged with you and you will be fine. If you want tiny this is it. I can think of nothing smaller in the mod area of life, and the only thing close really is a 510 cig look alike, difference being you can actually use an LR on it.

it is about as wide as an ego and a full 1/2 inch or more shorter. I have the RES version and it is still small as all get out.

Yeah the UltraLite is pretty darn small. One thing I will say about carrying spare batteries that I learned the hard way is do not just throw them in your pocket. I threw one in my pocket with my keys and it activated and caught on fire. I didnt think that would happen but it did. I definitely wont be doing that again. So if you are going to be carrying some spare batteries I would put them in something. I use the carrying case for the UltraLite, but if I am carrying a spare 17670 battery I just put it in a plastic bag and then throw it in my pocket.

I had that same thing happen with a 16340 and spare change in my pocket. I know you got a couple responses but I will respond as well. I do not own the ultralite but I do own a couple 10440 mods and I am pretty happy with the power that the 10440 provides to the atty. It is a must to use the imr high drain ones though, I used a protected ultrafire that was not high drain and it did not even come close to supplying the atty with enough power for me to get a good enough kick in the back of the throat.

Sure, i wouldn't expect significant battery life from a 10440, i'd use an 18650 for battery life, but my 18650 mod is pretty big, you just can't take it everywhere and stealth vaping isn't exactly inconspicuous, especially on a flight. I have a couple of small ego like batteries, slightly bigger, they're 1400mah i think, but they have a stupid led that lights up. I find the alpha unique and intriguing, it differs from all other mods in every single way, either that be styling, switch or liquid container. The 0.5ml ultraLite RES might be just enough to keep you satisfied, but know i'm kind of thinking that the Ultra might a better choice, it's probably a medium size mod, not sure how much bigger it is that the ultralite... hmmm *thinking*

The size is not much different, especially when compared to liquid storage and battery size. The Ultra has double of both, but just a fraction bigger. If you absolutely want the most pocket friendly device though there really is no beating the UltraLite. It just depends on what you consider small in your pocket. Here is picture of all of them together.

Here's another pic for comparison. BTW, has anyone mentioned how ridiculously small the Ultralite is? I disagree with the argument that he Ultra is only a bit larger. The fact is that the Ultra is HUGE when compared to the Ultralite.

But factoring in that the length is what looks like 5mm longer on the ultra makes it a no brainer for me, close to the same length and not even twice the diameter for twice the batt life and res capacity. I have two ultras one with res and one without and they are quite small for everything that is in it, alot smaller than expected actually. That being said, I do want to pick up a lite for those secret vaping sessions. I just think if you have to pick one, then you get a lot more bang for your buck with the ultra. my 2 cents.

Oh yes, indeed. There is a strong argument for the trade-offs when going to the Ultra. I designed them all to be as small as mechanically possible.

The thing about the Ultralite that I love so much is how it has all of the features of it's larger brothers in such a small package. I just LOVE how small it is. It's ridiculous, like jewelry, or something that shouldn't be possible. God bless Swiss Screw Machines.

I along with many other people have an infatuation with mini things so it is surprising I have not ordered one yet. I just picked up an a stainless steel NAA mini revolver 5 shot .22magnum and it is so small, the fit and finish is beautiful on it also reminds me of jewelry or something. I have been meaning to take some avatar pics of my mini guns and mods, I just wish my ultra was in steel so it would match perfectly, hint
