The reason these units are timed is there is no cooling for the electronics. So I added a fan and exhaust ports. I could have put a thinner fan on the inside, but I wanted more CFM. The switch changes the unit from either timed from the OEM timer or endless mode. No more buying more expensive units to get more run time or turning the unit on several times a day. Never mind about the tape, just temporary till I find the darn screws.

The whole reason for this mod is to leave it unattended.

I forgot to mention that the fan is blowing directly on the heat sinks. As long as there is air blowing though, this unit can run 24 hours a day, unattended.
