Not really sure if this has already been done... But i picked up a ultrasonic cleaner from brookstone today and just finished using on attys and all pieces to the GG's and AVS... Cleaned it up perfectly, you can put any liquid you want it the tub and it cleans it up real good, only paid 39.99 anyone else done this?

I just use PGA. Seems to work very well. I haven't tried water or vinegar but I don't see a need to. If you have some type of coating like the black ego atomizers that I have, PGA might weaken it but those finishes are garbage and I ended up scratching it off of one of my old attys. I found one called Graves and it was cheaper than Everclear but the same thing :) Just run it for 3 cycles or so if you have one that has 3 minute cycles.

I found one with good reviews for 22 bucks + shipping. Is that the normal price for one of these? I don't want a very small one just a medium one.

This is the one I have. Works very well. Ultrasonic Cleaner - Save on Ultrasonic Cleaners at HFT

Edit: The small ones usually don't have enough power but this one that I found is just perfect. The other thread that I posted above has all of the technical details about that. You don't want one that is too powerful either.

would PGA be ok with cleaning the GGTS? I worry about the o-rings drying out

I really have no idea if it has any effect on the o-rings. I assume they are rubber but it shouldn't hurt it for the short time that they will be in it.

Thank you, that looks like the same exact one I was looking at. I will order it, I want to give my drip tips a good cleaning.

If you do end up getting that one, it has a plastic window thing on the lid. I find that after using it with the lid closed once or twice that it started to fog up or something. Maybe this is caused by fumes or something from the PGA. I have no idea but I use it with the lid open now because it seems to work just as well.

Today I bought a bottle of a product to remove protein deposits from instruments for dentists and surgeons, it works much better than vinegar, vodka and lemon. It costs 10 € ($ 12) for 1 liter. 10ml in 500ml, I have many attys to clean :)

What is it called? This sounds interesting.
