Umm...not thrilled with taste of VG

I know about the VG cart "lack of flavor" issue but... I thought I would try some because PG seems to be sucking the moisture out of my skin like a hyperactive anteater on an ant hill. I got some VG Capp carts since Capp is still my favorite flavor. I am sorely disappointed. As I mentioned before, I expected a flavor sufferance/lack. What I got was that, AND a weird medicine-like acrid flavor that I can not stand. Unfortunately, I now have 4 3/4 boxes of Capp that I can't vape. Cue the violins. I'm subsiding on other flavors. BTW: Carmel Mocha Frapp - yummmmmmmmy and S'mores - eh.

If someone would like to do me a favor and order 4 boxes of PG Capp and then trade for my VG that would be awesome...hint hint hint

i did not enjoy the vg at -all- myself. v. glad i only ordered the samplers. i don't have a prob with the pg tho, thankfully. but yeah... i'm with you.

Ugh! 10 boxes you don't like....that would not be good. Hope you can trade those in the swap thread. I ordered 2 different VG flavors to try. Didn't like the first I tried at all, haven't even tried the 2nd. I've been perfectly happy with the PG, just thought I'd give the VG a shot.

Yeah, I don't think I will be ordering more VG carts. The base flavor is awful...totally unvapable.

The menthol VG carts are the best out of the ones I've had - Cowboy, Menthol, Mint, Coffee, Green Tea. However, even the Menthol carts have the backbone of the strong base flavor.

The coffee carts I have, literally have no coffee flavor at all...not even a hint. It's all base flavor. I actually haven't noticed a significant increase in vapor either. The Green Tea have only a slight green tea flavor - not at all like the PG carts. The Cowboy may taste a bit like cowboy but I again, mainly taste base flavor.

I'm still giving the ones I ordered a try though, but I think I'll simply chalk the expense up to experience.

yeah, exactly... maybe because i'm used to PG now, the base flavor of VG seems very invasive and overpowering. & i get so much vape from my PG carts (which of course do have some VG in) that any notable increase in vapor isn't that exciting... plus, i think now that i'm fully converted to steve's advised 'long, soft draw' method, i don't really notice a vapor difference, either. i'll vape the ones that i can stand, and the others, well, i'll just wash 'em out. it was just curiosity for me, too, i'm happy with the pg/vg blend.

Just got a few free carts in my order today. Menthol, Peanutbutter cup and Green tea. I think they all taste fantastic and the amount of vapor is incredible. As a matter of fact just a minute ago, my wife, whom I share a home office with, just jumped under her desk unplugging everything thinking something was on fire. I just about fell out of my chair laughing at her.

i tried the VG out of curiosity as well; i got cola and smilin' menthol. i like them at first, but they do lose flavor pretty quick and have this strange... sweet/rot/sweat kind of taste to it when normally i wouldn't think a cart would run out that fast, as i've noticed my other carts, when running dry, have that odd... burnt/rot taste to them.

cola is one of my favorite flavs now, so i'll be curious to see what the PG version tastes like when i can manage to get some.

A friend of mine wanted to switch brands because she wanted more vapor and less throat hit. I got her to try the VG and she loves it. I also tried it and was very impressed with the Vapor production but the flavor did seem to run out quickly. Still I am glad they have it and will try it again in the future.

Kamel VG - Have to say I'm fairly surprised by the lack of flavor as well from the VG versions. I have several hig mg bottles of PG I'm adding though and that seems to make a big difference although I have to suffer through the VG to get it dead enough to load back up with PG juice. Such is life.

Val - So its that bad ? lol. You think if it was 24mg/18mg - would still be that awfull eh ? I got English Tofee 24mg pg carts and after 4 or 5 puffs i had to put it down!!! Very bad taste - bitter - Yuck! I wouldn't even let my worst Enemy smoke it if he wanted some Nicotine!

I'm happy with the PG, especially the newer cartos like cinnamon roll and butterscotch that (I think) have enough VG mixed in to give me a ton of vapor, but no weird pure VG aftertaste. But I consider myself lucky to not be sensitive to PG.

Received some VG Kamels and Caps today while in search of bigger vapor. Back to PG I go. At least the VGs made the decision easy for me: good taste/throat hit beat more vapor anytime. That underlying taste of the VGs, especially with the Caps, is disturbing enough, for me, that nothing more needs saying.

On the other hand, if I had an allergy to the PGs, I'd thankfully accept and adjust to the VGs without a whimper. They still beat the crap out of analog cigs.
