No place in the instructions did it say how long to charge... I called, and was told 3-4 hours to start, but they do come from the factory with a charge.

Sooo here is my take... LOL. Hubby is happy with it so far, has not had an analog all afternoon. Me being the lightweight that I am, I keep getting dizzy LMAO. The menthol tastes like doublemint gum, but it's not bad, kind of refreshing. I have smoked Capri menthol for years, they are very light and low in nicotine...the cartridges I got are 11 mg., so I am getting a bit of a buzz.

I think this may work for us... oh I hope so.

Thank you everyone here for your help... I will keep you posted.

I just got my first 510 last week. The instructions said to charge for 8 hours regardless of whether the light turned green, use for 20 minutes and then charge for another hour. By far the most detailed charging instructions I have seen yet.

Best of luck with it!

Followed those instructions to the letter and am pleased with my batts, the more so now that i've got the Personal Charging Case. Only vaping the 510 for about 3 weeks now and enjoying the tastes and vapor of directly dripping onto the atomizers bridge something i could not do with the starter two pc units i had stumbled upon initially.
I feel it is the fortunate one's that fall in love with the whole process of Vapo-faction. As intimate as our own breath.......and soo much fresher:p
Without the "haunt" of thanatos.
Good luck to us all

I just got a 510 today from Innovapor. Nice unit. What's really nice is they charge the batts for you. They say to use it for 20 mins and then charge for an hour. Use the second while the first charges. Since I had to wait until after work to get it I'm really glad I didn't have to wait until tomorrow to check it out! Nice touch.

The instructions are to charge it 8 hours but I can promise you your battery charger powers down when it reaches 3.97v and the light goes green. I have volt tested 10 battery's from the day I got them. Charging 5 til green and charging 5, 8 hours. They all still operate the same.

I never charged my batteries for 8 hours, and have had no problems, either... I had read/heard that they should be charged for 8, 10, or 12 hours before using them, but when I put them in the charger, the light turned green in a matter of seconds... Don't see any point in keeping them in there past that. When the light turns green, that means the charger stopped charging.

I've actually had other batteries (AA NiMH) drain out when left in the charger after the charging cycle is complete... I don't know if that relates to these batteries, but I still don't think they keep on charging after the light goes green... If they did, they'd probably get fried from over-charging.
