Running out to the car in the middle of the night to light a cigarette off the car's lighter, because either I'd run out of fluid or lost my BIC.

i recently went to my high school reunion at a bar, and we were all sitting outside enjoying the weather, having drinks and catching up with one another. it was awesome not having to worry if smoking was going to bother my old friends.
i used to chain smoke whenever i drank outside, and then wake up in the morning wheezing and feeling like my lungs were being crushed. not to mention that awful stale cigarette and cotton mouth taste/feeling that lingered. none of that happened this time, and even though i was slightly hungover, i felt great!
