Unexpected issue with first time cleaning of Kanger mini subtank

Good evening everybody. Had something odd happen while I was cleaning my Kanger Mini Subtank for the first time and was hoping ya'll could tell me if this is gonna be an issue. I cleaned the top part (Glass and stem) out with water like always. The base I don't run water into, I just clean out the inside with a q-tip. Well when I did that, I pushed the pin (the part that touches the coil and battery- has a rubber seal around it) out accidently. It went back in easily, no problem. Now before I put this back together and fill it with juice, is this gonna leak? Has anyone ever done this before? Do I have a faulty tank? I clean the base of my Aerotank with a q-tip all the time and have never pushed anything out.

I own the subtank and have the mini on the way. I rinse the base of my tanks under warm water after removing the coil. I've pressed own on many a center pin and have yet to have one come out. How much pressure did you apply? Curious to hear the responses.

Very little actually, just dry scrubbing with a q-tip. I don't put water in my bases because I'm afraid of messing them up lol. But it pushed and stayed right back in place, I put in the 1.2 coil, filled it with juice, let it sit for 15 minutes, put it back on the iStick and have Vaped half a tank and no leaking whatsoever so far. I wonder if the spring loaded deal in the iStick pushed it loose. Seems ok for the time being. Vapes like a champ on the 1.2.

The way I see it is if you got it working and is pretty much like it was you should be ok. If everything feel right and no shorts run with it.

I am sure down the road kAnger will offer replacement parts, but time will tell.

Yeah, the iStick is reading the coil fine and it's hitting just like normal. I'm actually gonna take it apart again tonight as I am switching juices and coils and just be extra careful with the middle piece. I clean with q tips too, and the pin came out of a Nautilus mini once. I put it back in and have had no issues. Stuff happens.

Just out of curiousity, do they have the rubber seal on there's as well?
