It depends on the base. It will have a very slight sweet taste to it if the base has VG and the more VG the sweeter it'll taste. Otherwise it really is unflavored. Some regular juice vendors have it as "flavor" you can buy. Otherwise, any of the places that sell nicotine base solution. Others will be along with their suggestions, I like the base from Nude Nicotine the best.

Most times it tastes like an airy " Light" cigarette. I think that's what got me off smokes. Some describe it as Vanilly.

Depends on where you buy it, and how well your topper works. Many long term users on ECF.

There are about a half dozen popular places people talk about on here- all good- but a little different.

After trying several brands back in '11, I settled on Wizard Labs. But I haven't tried some that has come out lately.

It's a good idea to buy a few small bottles to test.

So I can buy it and put it in my tank just the way it is and vape it all day?

I would think so. There are multiple sites offering various PG/VG levels of Nic. Mt Baker Vapor has some lower-level nic (unflavored) whereas many other suppliers start around 24mg/mL and those are sold in bulk sizing.

You could get some plain PG and/or VG and dilute a higher-concentration nic to get the same result.....

You can get VG/PG blend from Nude Nicotine with nicotine, in all of the typical concentrations (0, 3, 6, 12, etc) or you can buy the ingredients and mix it yourself. Like others have described it's similar to a light cigarette. I get tired of flavors quickly so I only vape natural tobaccos and unflavored. Another benefit of unflavored is the lack of potentially harmful flavorings.

Sure. No reason you can't. As long as the mg and PG:VG ratio is what you want.

You could even get a some Flavoring where you buy your Unflavored Nicotine and put a Couple of Drops in for a Change of Pace.

    Yes!
For me most flavorings are too harsh. Chemistry, you know... I DIY, so no problems with unflavored, but usually I add a small amount of flavoring, so it works as a background, with slight aftertaste. I like it. Right now I am vaping on unflavored - for the second day I am testing my new RTA and unflavored is better for it. Anyway, unflavored is a fun to vape, it closest thing to real cigarette (not something with "tobacco" flavorings).

I was thinking of trying this one out:

Do It Yourself Shop - Nicotine Solution - Vices Electronic Cigarettes

    They go down to 3mg:

    3mg Nicotine Solution - 250ml - Vices Electronic Cigarettes

and it's all pharmaceutical grade, which they all 'should' be.

I don't think one should taste any different from another since it's just vg/pg. Possible the nicotine may taste slightly different.

I'd advise a small sample first. I've heard that Nicselect is better than in the past, but I'd be cautious.

Edit- that's pretty cheap to test, try to smell, taste and vape a little b4 mixing though.......

Interesting, thanks for the info. I have enough eliquid for a couple of months, but next time I want to get away from flavorings altogether.

I'll definately do some more research first.

I've been vaping unflavored almost exclusively for about the last 10 months, but more and more starting to ad just a very, very small amount of a flavored nic juice. I like a high VG %, but I don't like the taste of VG at higher than low-moderate temp. That's the biggest downside for me, because in my experience, higher temps produce better quality vapor. Those tiny bits of flavor I've been adding have helped cover the taste of the VG.

I find most of the flavored juice out there to be way over-flavored for my taste.
