Greetings from Ukraine!
I want to share information about my new atomizer. Perhaps, some of the technical solutions embodied in the design, will be interesting to you.

What's new:
1. Filling through the cover with magnets.

3. Ability to self-replacement method for fixing the coil by the user. Possible ways of fixing nichrome in my atomizer:
- Use the clamping by screw head.Use the nut as the central contact of "Genesis"
- By fixing screws through the holes.
- Use the nut as the central contact of "Genesis"

5. Positive contact for both installation methods need not be changed. Contact has a large range of height adjustment - 7 mm

6. The possibility of transforming the atomizer:
- Basic configuration.
- Configuration with a tank made of polycarbonate.
- RBA with synthetic filler. Refilling is through the holes to which access is opened by removal of the magnetic cover like the refueling of Drip.

Other technical data:
Diameter - 22 mm.
Length - 42 mm (if connector 510), 38 mm (if hybrid)
Material: titanium, brass.
Weight of about 50 grams.
Maximum cross-section of air supply - 2.5 mm. Minimum cross-section - fully closed.
Regulate the flow of air can be directly while working the atomizer.

Atomizer has a very small electrical resistance through the use of brass in conductive parts. This allows the use of high power coils without heating elements of the device.
Atomizer does not require adjustments to work well.
This Drip atomizer with liquid volume of 1.5 ml.
The liquid is in a free state, but because of the design is not discharged outside the device in any position.
Consequently, there is need for a large amount of the wick for holding the liquid. Atomizer always dry out.
The device is fully dismountable. Except neodymium magnets.

The first generation of these devices appeared in the spring of 2014. In the photo you can see the first generation.

The drawing shows a second generation of atomizer. Changed the radiator, added a transparent tank, changed the coil mount, the adjusting ring also has a different shape, increase the air supply, modified logo ...
Changes have been made based on user feedback.
Atomizer is very easy to use. Even if the user has a thick fingers and has no experience). It is practically impossible to make a mistake, at which the atomizer will not work well.

I'll be glad to see your opinion about my work.

If you allow me, I will tell about the history of this atomizer.
I have been designing atomizers more than three years. Honestly, I did not want to do that. I just wanted to stop smoking. However, those devices that I bought, did not satisfy me. If you remember what could be bought three years ago, you will understand me.
At first I tried to modify the serial atomizers. Then he began to create the terrible constructions of plastic parts and syringes. Despite the horrible appearance, these structures have worked much better than the serial samples.

108d9ff35628.jpg

Most importantly, I understood the working principle of atomizer. I understood how to obtain yummy and high quality vapor. My tools were a knife, file, soldering iron. I was able to do experiments quickly and cheaply. I experimented with the size, shape, spacing between elements of the atomizer. When I found the optimal ratio, I started to make this successful design not only of plastic, but of metal and plastic.

ccd80c86da2a.jpg

Unexpectedly people began to take an interest in my designs. At first friends, then members of the local forum. This got me spend a lot of time behind a lathe. There was a time when I started looking for a factory that can make parts for atomizers. After a long search I found a factory. Factory engaged in the creation of spacecraft and had good equipment.User reviews helped me to make my design more perfect. Eventually, I invented a new method of fixing the coil, improved regulation of the air supply, changed the design, began using titanium ...

I thought that over time someone will make a perfect atomizers on the market, and I can stop the production of my atomizers. But the years went by, but the people did not stop to ask me to do atomizers. There were very beautiful atomizers on the market, very good, but people continue to enjoy my products. Many people sell other atomizers after acquiring my atomizer. Some people send me their atomizers as a gift. Thus I had Kayfun, lots Drip-atomizers, and various RTA.:D
Over time, the number of owners of my atomizers became numbered in the hundreds. In late 2014, the number approached a thousand. I did not expect this. Users appreciated the ease of use, excellent taste and no problems during use. Despite the outdated appearance.

I lost hope that I can stop my production soon. But I'm tired of doing the same for several years. Therefore, in early 2014 I decided to develop a new atomizer, which will have all the advantages of the old one, but it will be more modern.
I made a list of everything I wanted to see in an ideal atomizer. It was a big list) There was a lot of design problems. How to make a smooth adjustment of the air supply, with no holes of different diameters, how to make a silent atomizer, how to make refills fast, how to make the possibility of using the connector 510 and the hybrid ...

I wanted to keep the possibility of refueling in any method, even using a cup for tea. I wanted to make it possible to use low resistance coils, to maximize the tuning range. I wanted to give the user the ability to create. An opportunity to transform the atomizer for his taste. Opportunity to disassemble and assemble without special tools. Ability to apply various methods of attaching the coil....
It was a big list of what I wanted as a user.

Work on drawings took a couple of months. Experimental samples were produced. Then there was a period of testing. Then the production of new drawings and production of several tens of atomizers. Users received a new device, I got feedback. Feedback gave me confidence that I managed the task. According to the list of all requirements.
But I decided not to stop there. I decided to make a new generation of these atomizers. To give more opportunities.

So I announced his project here. On your court. For criticism. Maybe I missed something, maybe I did something superfluous in the design.
I ask your advice.

Just my 2 cents. I'd like more air flow , more juice 3+ml and will the magnets not lose their magnetism under constant heating? I know asking all of these and keeping a tank still short size is challenging. Also I know you do not need juice flow control with your design above but I am a big fan of the twisting juice flow control drip tip. What you have designed is really awesome but without being able to actually use it first hand it reminds me greatly of the spheroid or pometrey by art of exhale. I do love the titanium tho. Send me one and I'll do a full 3rd party pictorial review. :) I congratulate you regardless. Your work is very inspiring!

Thank you for your 2 cents)
After the publication in another forum, I have a powerful attack from fans of low ohm. People require two coils, more air, more ... Californian cross section)
Atomizer design allows it. Atomizer can be changed for the SubOhm without significant changes in the structure. However, in this case it will be atomizer for SubOhm only. A one-way ticket.
I promised the people to do this mod too.:nun: On the basis of my atomizer. But as an additional modification. The main purpose of my atomizer - be a device for daily use. I do not use SubOhm when working at the computer, watch TV, or when driving a car ... Perhaps I am a unique person. Perhaps, no SubOhm - no life. Perhaps I'm a dinosaur, and it's time of my extinction.
Maximum cross-section of the air channel in my atomizer - 2.8 mm. (I made a mistake in the first message, when he wrote of 2.5 mm). This allows to use a coil with a resistance of 0.5-0.7 ohms. It is comfortable for me. But I can also use a coil with a resistance of 2-3 ohm if I want. Simply install a new coil and turn adjustment ring...
Okay, okay, I promise I will do an additional mod for SubOhm.

Drip-atomizer with a volume of more than 3 ml of juice? We exactly talk about Drip-atomizer? Oh, I'm do not mind being Drip-atomizer had a volume of more than 10 ml. Or more. I can even do it. Please do not ask me about the overall dimensions of this Drip-atomizer. I can be the new Frankenstein, I can create monsters)))

Magnets are inside the radiators, and I could not warm them to a dangerous temperature in every operating mode of atomizer. I use this atomizer every day for several months, but neodymium magnets do not change their properties. I also have feedback from other users, which confirms the reliability of the magnets.

It is difficult to understand the nature of my device if you do not take it in hand and not try to use. I will add you to the list of reviewers. And I would be very grateful for the review. Thank you for your interest in my work.
Now being decided the issue of the right to life of this atomizer. If the technical solutions embodied in it are interesting to the public, the atomizer will live, if not - it will be only a few dozen copies of an experimental batch.

I am here as a gladiator in the arena of the Colosseum. Waiting for :thumb: or :nah:

I mean no disrespect. Your design does intrigues me. I think the use of magnets for a cap is a genius idea! I just wasn't sure if they would hold up over time but if you say they will then I will take your word for it since it certainly seems like you have done your homework. I do sub ohm but not a crazy low ohm person. Usually .7-.9 As for the amount of juice it holds, what you have in the design is fine for a dripper. If you are hoping to reach the rebuildable tank population then 2.5ml is the lowest I'd go. A lot of people want a dripping atomizers performance with a tank which I believe your design could appeal too. I wish you well in your work. Please do keep keep this thread or me posted. New innovation is always welcome! Please no monsters tho :)

If you need larger volume you can assemble the atomizer in such a way:
2107d7d1b8b6.jpg

1,5 + 5 = 6,5 ml
The wick can also save some amount of juice. I do wick from Japanese cotton, not sure, but it seems my wick absorbs about 0.2 ml.
I made an emphasis on quick and easy refueling. When filling my way, the volume is not so important. Lift the lid, pour the juice from a bottle and throw the cover - lid itself will take the right position and make the connections are leak proof.
If I'm going to ride in the car, I make this variant, as on my picture and not thinking about refueling.
Here is my set for traveling (It's an old model of atomizer. Adjustment ring and the radiator is not yet changed.) :

Any plan on making the air flow a bit larger? You said that you met some criticism on another forum?

More air flow is not necessary for a single coil. At least I was not able to make such coil. 2.8 mm is enough.
When doing the air flow more, you must install a second coil. Original mount allows to do it. It remains only to make two holes under coils. You need to install the ducts In this holes. Central air duct is necessary to block. Need to make an additional hole in the adjusting ring. That's all changes.
We will have two air ducts, each is 2.8 mm.
Need a drawing to understand?

This reminded my experiments)))

Instead of central duct, I installed the LED. Blue light.

I want to ask: what color of the plastic tank is better? I tried blue, green. Perhaps gray.
490cf9080920.jpg
0ebfdd784f1e.jpg

Fully transparent I do not like. Or do colorless with a matte finish?

The second question. Users say that too many engravings. They propose to remove the upper cover engraving. What do you think about this?

The third question. What type of the mounting screws should I use? Can be applied standard screw or a special screw, as in this picture.

I like the special screw but standard if lost would be easily replaced. I also like the colors. Let me know if I can join a list or other method to obtain your creation. One last point I do like is of this style atomizer is its almost leak proof design. Of all the features though the magnetic top cap intrigues me the most. I think your the 1st to do that.

Yes, the magnetic top cap - it's my invention. However, I think that the adjustment of the air supply, implemented in this atomizer, is also a novelty. I have not seen a similar design in other atomizers. Ability to change the ways of fastening the coil is also a novelty, I think.:smokie:
I remember about you. When the samples will be done, I'll let you know.
The drawings are ready. Tests were carried out. The question of the financing of the project will be decided on next Monday.

But.....But.... This is the dripping atty section

It was not me!
My topic has been moved to this section...
Perhaps the moderator chose the most appropriate section.
Perhaps, this topic should be in another section.
I do not know, but I use my atomizer as Drip now....
Or possibly, I use my atomizer improperly.
