Unprotected Lithium Polymer Battery

Hi all, can you help me with this question:
I plan to buy joyetech Joye510CC (because my budget is small)
Is it safe to use Joye510CC? since it has UNPROTECTED Lithium-Polymer 280mA battery, but comes with original charger and has "body's" short circuit protection

I have no experience with this product but 280 mah is not much of a battery. IMO
