unstick sleeve from atty/carto?

anyone know wat to use to unstick them...i want to use the sleeve in a mod.

I always put them in boiling hot water and let them sit there for about 5 to 10 minutes...... Then screw them onto an old battery so you can pull or bend back and forth as you pull out on it to get the tube off. If it does not work the first time try the process again. I only have to do it once normally.... that should work.

Put a wire brush bit on your dremel or drill, and run the carto against it, takes em right off !

oh ok...i dont have a dremmel but sounds like it would work.


if i put in a boiling kettle would that damage any of the inside components? its actually a giantomiser and i want to take the sleeve off.

If ya take a hair dryer and heat it up it also should make it easy to pull off,,,,

No it will not hurt any of the inside componets.... Thats also how you would clean an atty.... just has to be dryed overnight if you were going to try and use it again... check out some of the atty cleaning vids ..... if you want to use it again because you have many options for cleaning

I'm for sure going to try some of the above above methods the next time I need to make some more 306 to 510 drip tip adapters. Thanks folks.
