WOW! What a documentary! He pretty much gives a synopsis of the Bible. He was talking about 'why bad things happen to good people.' I ran across it on Netflix last night as a 'New Release.' He pretty much speaks the entire time and you think, 'oh, this is going to be boring,' but the way he speaks and in the way he speaks, you can't help but know that he is annointed. I highly recommend it! The funny thing is that he's still in the Old Testament and you're thinking......'hey....what about the New Testament? There isn't that much time left on this program!' Oh, he definitely gets there. My favorite quote is when he's talking about satan realizing he didn't kill Jesus and keep Him in the grave. He said about satan, "he was stripped, de-fanged, and neutered!" I must get this for my library! It's a great witnessing tool, too!

I didn't know it was in theatres. I wish I could have seen it in the theatre! I imagine the mood coming out of the theatre was solemn and reverent. Amazing!

I just really enjoyed the idea that we can't see the whole picture so its hard to see why we are suffering when the Bible clearly shows that sometimes the worst suffering is for the most important long term benefit, good, and glory

Got it. It's like social chat rooms. I definitely remember those days. All I wanted to do was talk to other disabled people like me, to help and be helped. Then I tried "Christian" rooms. Great hot sunbeams! All that went on in those rooms were arguments. Still haven't figured out how they planned to talk to people about Jesus when they were too into arguing and debating and name calling.....I finally got fed up and left. Haven't been back. Of course that was when I was on aol. I was so disillusioned with people for awhile.
