Unthreaded Vamo tube Problem

Previously asked a question about the Vamo v3 battery tube falling off. I received 1 answer with a group of photos before the thread locked. To continue my inquiry...the photo shows both battery tubes to be nearly equal in length, but on the tubes I received 1 is almost double the length of the other. The longer tube has outer threads at the bottom which screws on to the battery cap with the gold spring and the top of this tube has threading on the inside that does not attach to anything other than the shorter tube and if slid onto atomizer with both tubes joined could hold nearly 3 stacked 18350 batteries. The shorter tube also has threads at the bottom for the cap but the top of this tube is male and completely smooth as is the inside of the female atomizer that it slides into (no threads at all). With the difference in tube lengths I am wondering if this is a more than 1 model thrown together in a box and sold as a kit? Thanks.

Read your first post and this one and don't completely understand what is happening here.

A true Vamo V3 should look like this when disassembled:

Note that the threaded sections on the larger part that actually contains the PCB are 'press fit' into the vamo's body.

If you could upload some pictures of what you've got, it may help to try and figure out what is going on.
