I was vaping this morning at Starbucks while drinking an iced beverage. After chain vaping for more than half a hour, I got this burning sensation on the left side of my throat. I don't inhale (at least not advertently) so I was surprised by this pain. It lasted for a couple minutes. After that feeling subsided, my throat felt like it was sore (as if I was sick with a sore throat). That lasted for about 20 minutes. I tried drinking water and Diet Coke, but they didn't help. When that feeling went away, I got a sensation in my throat everytime I swallowed. It wasn't piercing like the original sensation. It felt like I was starting to develop a cold. I still have this feeling now: about 15 hours later.

Is it time that I switch to 0mg nicotine? Could that have caused these pains in my throat? Or is this pretty normal for someone who chain vapes?

Perhaps you irritated a scratch in your throat....sometimes people can get these from eating sharp things like chips etc. Maybe it was the hot coffee even-or an allergy (I can get really sore throats during allergy season and this year is bad!)-could be a number of things. Just keep your eye on it. I'm sure it isn't the level of nicotine?...but ask your doc if it continues to occur.

The pg, the coffee, an allergy, a cold, an errant chip of ice that scratched your throat, could be a number of things, what you describe is how my son feels right before he goes into full out strep throat which is never fun! No matter what the culprit is if it lasts longer than 24 hours I would be making an appointment with the doc.

It's mostly gone now. I felt sick (cough/stomach ache) this morning, but those symptoms disappeared after a 2 hour nap. Now my throat just feels slightly dry. That's weird. I was almost certain that the e-cig I was using didn't contain PG.
