Update 2"Insecticide smell in my naked juice from MFS"

Ok here goes...got my replacement juice from chris at MFS and he threw in 250 ml of pg to go with it. I mixed up a couple of flavors yesterday(I always let it sit overnight it never tastes right to me fresh) so I mixed a watermelon (LA) 18mg/ml, pear (LA) same strength, tiramisu and dk type tobacco from Pa at 20mg/ml and today I was pleasantly surprised, everything was right tasted great. The reason I was surprised was it was the same lot # now what this says to me is the nic in the first juice was probably right, I believe it was some kind of contaminant left inside the bottle or some how got inside the bottle just before filling because it was just the strangest, most caustic taste ever so maybe I vaped some machine oil or sumthing but all is well now and by the way the juice is great Chris....

I do remember a while back where someone had gotten a shipment of bottles that had a chemical smell to them and there was no way to remove the smell or taste from those bottles.
It is one area that most people do not think about-the bottles need to be cleaned and sterilized before putting any liquids into them. They have come from a factory and lord knows what they were stored with and for how long. Perhaps they have come straight off the production line and have yet to have enough time for what ever plastic chemical to air out and dissipitate.

I'm glad this batch worked out so much better for you. When you first posted about this problem it really gave me a scare. I've never encountered the problem myself, but it really got me thinking and really glad that I mostly DIY these days. When I got my new juices from Gourmet Vapor yesterday I let them warm up a bit and then I smelled every single one of them! Talk about paranoid!

They're all just fine and tasted great, especially the Pom-Blu and the Mocha Smoke! I think I found a tobacco flavor that I really, really like!

Me too some times I like to mix it a bit strong with some sweet cream for a nice morning vape of cappuccino idk comes kinda close for me...
