Greetings to all of my new vaping friends!

Just wanted to let you know it's going well for me with my Vapor4Life Vapor King. I'm really enjoying all of the different flavors they sent me. Loving my Peach right now. I'm feeling fairly well, no hard side effects. My sense of smell is coming back and my sense of taste bit by bit. I notice it the most with my toothpaste which tastes so minty now. I'm hacking some crap up but that's a good thing.

Loving not smelling of smoke and getting the smell out of my house and car. I've stealth vaped in restaurants, and at bowling last weekend!

None of the cartomizers have gone dry yet, and my batteries are lasting me a full day. I don't vape constantly. Take quite a few hits when cravings stirke. I'm vaping on my passthrough in the evening with the 4mg flavors v4l. sent me. The VG gives great flavor and big vapor. I mix it with my 18mg. I've got one in each hand. LOL. My hubby calls me "the toker" and "the vaporizer".

I really detested analogs during the first several days but yesterday and this morning I had some killer cravings and I smoked about 3-4 which is the most I've smoked since starting and I was dealing with a high stress situation. Today I only had 2 in the mroning, that's my worst time.

I'm taking swedishfish's advice and not getting too hung up on it, just taking one day at a time. I've vaped more today to satisfy the cravings and have stayed off the analogs all day.

I visited my dentist today for my regular cleaning and she is thrilled I am quitting (she's been hounding me more than my doc) and I showed her the whole set up and gave her this website to give to her patients. She knew nothing of it, but I vaped several different flavors (coffee, peach, waffles) for her and her staff to smell and they loved it. Not too many questions on the saftey were asked of me. I did tell her the ingredients in it. She is interested in seeing if it stains my teeth.

I'm so glad I found this site! I feel better already and can't wait to get some calendar months away from analogs. I'm still on about 2-4 a day and hoping within a few weeks I will just not want them any more.

Happy vaping friends! :vapor:

Congrats on starting your journey bklyncat58! You are stronger than I my friend. I'm not stressing about a few a day. I did this on a whim after I got sick. I was home from work sick in bed and wanting to stop the insanity of smoking. I didn't set a quit date, throw away my ashtrays or prepare myself. I read a lot of the posts and gained some hope that I could quit. I'm sooooo happy!!! good to meet ya!

Congratulations. I agree the only day you can do something about is today.

When I first quit smoking, it was all about that. Vaping to me was really a means to just that. However, as time as went by, I actually have found that I enjoy vaping. That is something I never really considered when I first started though at all. My experience with vaping has continued to improve as time has went by.

Today, I am vaping my first menthol flavored ejuice, and it is the first time. Its been about 20 years or so, since I've had a menthol cigarette, I preferred regulars. I can honestly say, I actually like this juice a lot. It might not be an all day vape for me, but its so good and if given a choice, I'll definitely be doing this again.

I wish you the best of luck, and hope you enjoy your vaping experience.

Grats!!

BTW my solution for mornings was to buy an extra battery. I leave my ecig set up overnight right where I will vape in the morning. Now a few months in I have several ecigs and actually leave 2 set up overnight, one with a gentler flavor and one with a stronger flavor and nic. That's great for the morning - I vape the gentler one first then move to vaping the stronger one. I also find it less stressful at night. I also did not like deciding when to disassemble my ecig and set it up to charge - you know - is this my last drag? is this my last drag?. So now I don't have to do that either.

For the first 2 months I needed tobacco vapes or I was sometimes left with an analog craving as if I have just eaten. After 2 months I was able to vape anything though V4L WOWbacco is my current favorite vape - to me it is more like a dark dark chocolate than a tobacco - I smell/taste very little tobacco in it.
