Hi again everyone.

Just a quick update:-

After a great nights vaping on my first ever e-cig the Evo (think I overdid it a bit – had trouble sleeping and was feeling a bit jumpy!) I went to the collections depot this morning and picked up my 510 Titan J

I made sure I went through the proper battery charging process. So about 20 mins ago I set up the Titan and started to vape. The atomizer just kept going even after I stopped taking a drag! It got so hot I had to put it down. So I called TW, who I purchased it from. After I tried the other battery and it worked fine they were happy to offer me a replacement (great service Alex J). Anyway before nipping down to the post office to return the battery I decided to try it again and this time it worked?

I gave it a good blast and it now seems to be working fine with both batteries. So I am well chuffed now. The Titan’s vaporizer seems to run on a bit after my last drag (maybe between 0.5 and 1 second) compared with the Evo, whose atomizer stops as soon as I stop dragging. BTW when I had to put the Titan down it was running on for 5 seconds or so.

There are definitely differences between the performances of the two. The Evo definitely gives a greater throat hit (although I am using high tobacco carts in both I realise there will be differences in juice so I dripped both atomizers with TW High Tobacco).

I don’t think I have a preference yet. The Evo is smaller (even more so with the atom bat) and thinner and gives a greater throat hit but the Titan is very smooth.

It is weird how the same juice tastes different on different e-cigs – I will try and confirm this later by filling empty carts for both with the TW juice.

Thanks again to all who contribute – thanks to advice/reviews I have ended up buying great products J

Apologies for the long post.

Kula.

One of my batteries gets the atomizer super hot, hisses and pops and stays on about a second after I quit then the atomizer takes forever to cool down. My other battery sometimes will cut out after 2-3 seconds, just warms the atomizer, if it hasn't already shut off, it does so as soon as I finish drawing and the atomizer starts to cool immediately.

I don't get as much vapor with the second batt, but it's respectable and I still get the throat hit. I had 2 atomizers die in 2 days. I figured it was because of the hot battery, but I've read several posts that say it's normal, so I don't know what to think. The seller has offered to replace, but says batt 1 is operating normal. I don't know which one if either needs sent back. So I'm in the same boat. Just don't want to lose another atomizer.

I am a total noob so I don't really know waht to expect apart from what other peeps have written/video etc.

I am in the process of fully charging the second Titan bat, I will check this one out about midnight and post back my findings.

I have just filled a blank cart with TW High tobacco and I am getting fantastic vapour with the Titan - better that the Evo I think. And with just the TW juice more of a throat hit but not as much as Evo.

The atomizer on the Titan seems to have calmed down now - First attempt got very hot when it failed to switch off but now seems ok.

How long have you been using the bats? Did you go through the full charge process?

Yep, went through the full charge process. Got manual and automatics the same day and after all the initial charge, smoke, charge basically was only using 1 of the autos and 1 of the manuals. Noticed the high heat and longer to cut on the auto vs the manual right away, but didn't think too much about it. Wasn't until the second atomizer went that I think it occurred to me I hadn't really used the other auto batt except for that 20 min stretch, so I marked one of them and started mostly just using the autos. They both perform, but the difference in the atom heat and cut-off is so dramatic, I think something has got to be wrong with 1 of them. Just don't know which.

Have others coming of same model, but not here yet, so can't compare. I can't say that the hot batt caused the atomizers to die, but thought better to look into. The 2 that died were from the same kit. The one I'm using now is from a different set and is going on day 2. Other than a little swap testing at first between the autos I've only used the manual and lower heating auto with it. So could have been just a bad batch of atomizers or could have been hotter batt. That's what I'm trying to figure out.

Edit to add.

Received both kits. Did charge 8hr/smoke 20min/charge 1hr on 1 auto and 1 manual same atom that night then bed. Used same auto and atom about 10min next AM. When next went to use, atom was dead. Repeated process with other batts and second atom. Did a bunch of running about no prob. Got home and put everything away. Few hours later went to use and 2nd atom dead. Tried blowing out, draining, rinse and re-prime...nope, still dead. This was all just this week.

I will let you know how I get on once my other bat has charged - they are both autos. I am sure someone with more experience will let you know which one is right.

Btw my atomozer popped and fizzed to start with - again that seems to have calmed down now that I have put a fully charged bat on and am using a blank cart with TW liquid.

Who knows? - its all a bit confusing!
