Hello Everyone,
Started this test back in Mar 26, 2010 concerning the LR attys for the 510...Of course I use them mostly with my Ego....but have also used them with my wife's Joye 510...
Results so far: Bought a 5 pack and received them on Mar 26 from a China dealer....Care to Guess Who?????

First Three LR Attys last an average of 7-10 days....So, for the first three attys, they almost lasted one month......Don't forget, they only cost me $3.00 a piece...So, for $9.00 the attys lasted about a month....

Fourth LR Atty lasted me ------ 3 weeks....Yes folks, three whole weeks with a great LR atty...Did not complain one bit...

Fifth LR Atty lasted me --------about 2 weeks...Felt a little down about that....

So, for $15.00 plus shipping another $8.50, total $23.50....my LR Attys lasted a grand total of appx: 9 weeks...or two-plus months...
Will, when I have some extra time, explain the pro's and con's for the LR attys that I have experienced....
A quick down and dirty: They are worth it.....But, maybe not with a 510 battery...
Take care Everyone....and of course Enjoy the Adventure...

Sorry to double dip,,,,
But need to clarify one point...When I stated that the Lr atty might not be good with the 510 battery...it is because with my wife's Joye 510 batteries, the battery lasted less then one hour....With my Ego battery with the LR Atty, the battery lasted about 3-4 hours....Big difference...at least for me...Later....PaulCincy...

Did you use each atty with both the eGO and the 510 batt?

I certainly would be interested to see a comparison between the two. I think we all expect that the LR attys would last longer, on average, on the 650 mAh eGO than on a 180 mAh 510 batt.

EDIT: I composed this as Paul was posting his second message, so I guess my first question has been answered ... and we have anecdotal substantiation (an extremely small sample, granted) of my expectation.

Yes DonDa......
Always compared the two....To be frank....very frank....I would not use a LR atty with a 510 battery.,...Battery just can not handle the LR aspect.....but, again, with the Ego battery...it was worth it....Both cases,,,greater vapor, but more importantly...greater TH, at least what I found....
Enjoy....

I hope I'm not jinxing myself here. I haven't had one single atty die on me since I began vaping. I'm a chain vaper and primarily use my LR 510 and LR 901s. I ordered some 801 regular and LR attys today to give them a try.

I basically use the same atty for each style. I don't rotate. So I will know just how long each atty lasts. When I get new ones, I blow out the primer and make sure they fire up. Then I put them away for when I need them.

Since my 510 model is a Hello 016 with the conamizer, I hardly ever use those. However I do use the $4 dollar attys from TV and none of those have died on me either. However after a few days, some stop working with my 5v PT, but will continue to work fine at 3.7.

More anecdotal evidence...

I have been vaping for over a year and have only had a few atties go completely cold. So it was a shock when my first LR atty died after a couple of weeks. I have now lost three over the period of a month and a half. As usual with this equipment, it's hit or miss - one of the three I currently have in rotation is actually the first one I opened. So one has lasted a month and a half and the others about two weeks each. All are from HG. I'm using them on eGos mostly, but a passthrough with an inline 10440 has killed two of them, either due to the slightly higher voltage or the fact that I tend to chain vape on that more often.

At any rate, I will continue to use these. IMO, replacing one every two weeks is not too high of a price for a great vape.

My first two LR attys from Heaven Gifts lasted 9 days and about 14 days. However, in both cases the liquid level was very low when they burned out. Not really dry, but close to it. I use an eGo.

I have been watching for even the slightest "burning" taste and keeping the liquid level high ever since and the latest atty has gone over 3 weeks I think. I think that's the secret.

I agree that LR atty's are the way to go ! Much better vapor ! Would never go back.
