Update on travel

Hi fellow vapers - I just wanted to update you all on my holiday over the Christmas period.
Firstly - what a great city you have, we really enjoyed ourselves.
I took my equipment with me and did not have any problems on arrival
I used my vaper in smoking areas and did not have any problems either on the smoking corners or in outdoor bars and restaurants.

the checking for ecigs are not as strict in the airport as compared to the border between singapore and malaysia.
however, if you notice it is still under the list of restricted items that you are not allowed to bring in.

vaping in public is also definitely illegal, but there are not many enforcement agents out there.

You wouldn't be so lucky everytime without getting ur baggage scan.. Even old granny and grandpa custom officers also know what the stuff u bringing in.

Yes I know we are being hypocritical here but being how strict the local law is, I would like to highly discourage any sort of public disregard for the law.

Friendly reminder just in case everyone here has forgotten and is becoming complacent. Electronic nicotine delivery system is ILLEGAL. If you managed to get around the system great! But you don't have to boast about it on the public forum. Might I remind you that bringing your gear in is considered importation? You are looking at your gear being confiscated and paying up to 10k of fine and/or up to 6 month in prison.

From a fellow local to another local/foreigner visiting us, Please make sure your action doesn't affect the rest of us.

@Karstine dun need to brag not bragging ,its reality, u dun need a forum for the HSA/Customs to know that vape products has been constantly eluding customs. they know, their bosses know, and not just vape products thousands of contraband and drugs too.

so which is more better at resource allocation, which got top priorities?

u guys forgot the 1 important thing. what can we do not to elude the customs or skirt the laws but what can the community do to change the law governing vape? is that a better focus? where to start? who to talk to? whats the plan and call to action? or just whine abt it in the forums and social media.
