1) There are five separate bills in VA - at least 3 appear to be 'vaping = smoking' bills, I believe another is a simple minor ban. These are: HB 1111, HB 26, HB 218, SB 96 and SB 17.
2) Is the danger over in IA? Looks like a simple minor ban went through a committee yesterday and that's all (?).
3) What is the situation in OR? I'm talking about: HB 4073 which appears to be a simple minor ban and HB 4115 which is a "vaping = smoking" bill.
I'm having a little trouble following the action from the media reports, since they seem to emphasize minor bans and to say little about the other aspects of the proposed legislation.
Would like some feedback from vapers on the ground in these states, so I can include this info. in furture media posts.
