I currently use an ego c twist with a mini pro tank 3 or iclear 30 s. I'm wanting to step it up now I like the tanks I have but want a better power supply. I'm trying to decide between a invoking mvp2 or a mechanical mod. I know mechanical mods are more to learn but I know I'll be getting one eventually. What are y'alls thoughts on it? What would a good inexpensive mechanical mod to start with? I been thinking about a hcigar nemesis or stingray or maybe hades.

If you are going to continue using the Pro Tanks and iClears then go with a variable voltage device like the MVP you mentioned. Using a mech is best with rebuilding coils to the desired resistance in order to control the power.
I want to use the tanks and get an rda. Any idea on how the tanks would do on a mech with 1.5 ohm coils. What if I rebuilt them at lower ohm? At least the protanks
If you want to get an idea, use the tanks on your eGo set to 3.7 volts. That will be similar to using it on a mech. As far as going low ohm with those, they generally lack the air flow to make it work right.
I actually keep mine set between 3.6 and 4.0 most of the time. I have 1.5 ohm coils in my mini protank 3 and I'm getting decent vapor and flavor compared to evod clones. So I don't know if the adjustments on the mvp would really be worth it to me.
You can use a Nemesis with a Kick and make it a vv mod for your tanks, many people do that. Don't think there is a Kick designed to fit the Hades yet as it is a newer very large mod.
I think I'll probably go with something for a 18650 battery. I don't think my local shops carry the battery for the hades so if I need one fast I won't be able to get it and I think it would be a lot to carry around. Besides that I don't think I need that much power. Ive heard that the nemesis switch has problems and that the stingray is what the nemesis should have been. Anyone know anything about the caravela clone? I found a complete starter kit for $60 on ebay.

I have a Silver Bullet and use 5ml PBC bottom coil tanks. I bought 18650 3400 Mah protected batteries. I have had good luck with this set-up. The batteries can last up to 2 days and I vape heavy. They take a while to charge though if you run them real low. But that's why I have 4 of them
