I have had an EVOD for quite a while and wondering if there is something newer I should try.

After being smoke free for several months, I unfortunately went back to analogs and stopped using EVOD for a few weeks. I am now sure I want to go back to ecigs for good, especially since I just heard some very bad news about the health of one of my dear friends who is a smoker.

I scanned through some of the messages here and it seems there is a whole new world of ecigs I know nothing about. I do like my EVOD and it did work for me but I am wondering if I am missing out on something even better.

Would appreciate any opinions. BTW I am a 70 year old woman, so please no advice for DIY or anything complicated. I want something I can use the way it comes.

Hi there, if the EVOD worked for you before I'd say stick with it - with the exception of using say a Vision Spinner / EVOD Variable Voltage / eGo Twist style battery that lets you tailor the power output. THey have a EVOD 2 these days which is the same thing more or less but with dual coil. I have to say I recently pulled out an old protank 2 mini (same coil as the evod) and was astounded as to what a good job it still does despite it's relative "age" technology wise.

Aspire Nautilus mini for a tank
Eleaf istick 20W for the battery.

This is a great setup that produces a wonderful vape for around $60 total. My wife and I started with EVODs, but I couldn't get her to fully make the switch from analogs until we switched to the above setup.

I agree with this other than it might be a better idea to get the 30w istick. Not because the power difference but because they've fixed the issues the 20w had.

Please tell me why this would be better than the EVOD for me. What is the difference? Thanks

The glass tank is more durable than plastic tanks and will allow you to vape any flavor liquid you would like.
The nautilus mini is a BVC, (Bottom Vertical Coil) which allows for the wick to surround the coil fully allowing it to vaporize more juice. Because of this the more vapor production mimics the inhale of a cigarette better and allows you to experience a great flavor.
It also will let you adjust how easy or restricted the airflow is when you take a pull on the tank. For those who inhale into the mouth and then pull into the lung they like less airflow, or harder pull, and those who inhale right into the lungs, like an open or more airy pull.

The istick battery will allow you to heat your coil more or less based on how hot or cool you like the vapor to be. It also has great battery life compared to the EVODs.
So depending on how much you use it, it can last up to multiple days before recharge. It also has a pass through, which lets you vape with it and charge it at the same time.

I should add there are many other glass tanks and good batteries. I am listing what is currently IMO the best bang for your buck. Unless you become a serious techy vapor it should be all you will ever need.

I see others have posted the istick 30W, I agree with this. I listed the 20W as I am guessing it will be the Cheaper option.
The 30W does however fix everything wrong with the 20W (i guess). My wife and I have had the 20W for three months now and have had no issues other than the ghost fire. Like sometimes you will push the button and nothing happens.
