The spinner is a little larger than the Twist -- 16mm diameter rather than 14mm. The voltage scale goes the opposite way. Confusingly there are still scale division between the 3.3V and 4.8V end-stops which doesn't make sense, but you can't turn the dial there anyway. It is certainly easier to read and easier to turn. How long that will remain the case I don't know, since the Twist's scale is engraved, whereas the Spinner is only printed.

Probably the size factor is what you should go by. I can fit a big Twist/Spinner in my shirt pocket even with a full size ProTank poking out the top. I couldn't do that with a battery mod. So when my SVD finally gets here from fasttech (it's only been a month so far), I will still probably use the eGos when I am out and about.

Fasttech was closed for the last two or 3 weeks though.

Here's how I see this. You're at level one, but getting ready to switch to level two, vv/vw regulated mods. There's a level three though, and if you follow the typical vaping evolution, you'll end up there, mechs and RBAs/RDAs. Soooo, you could, if you were inclined, just skip level two straight to level three, for the heck of it. Get an igo-l, and an RSST and a 69 SS/Nemesis (you can get both on fasttech for less than $50!!), and a bunch of 18350/18490/18650 batteries, some different gauges of kanthal, and some cotton balls (you can get all of this for less than $200, easy). Anyway, dripping, yeah, dripping.

I iTaste is a big upgrade to the twist. The chipset is much better. You can control the voltage up to 6 volts not 4.8 on a twist and you can adjust the wattage up to 11 watts. The iTaste VV3 also has a micro usb plug which makes any cell phone charger a VV3 charger. You can check the battery to see how many volts are left, where a twist will only flash and go dead.

Thank you for that info. That's pretty much what I'm looking for. I'm NOT into rebuilding ANYTHING, I actually did rebuild a few coils with the cotton and it did nothing for me! I'm really happy with the Carto Tank, I'm really happy with the Twists, I want to 'upgrade' features, but am completely happy with performance so I'm not looking to move into 'level three'.

I was talking to a guy at one of my local vape shops and I told him I didn't want to feel like I HAD to keep moving up, you know, keep up! He said (and he's the owner) that he is still using his Halo Triton and is completely happy with it, he also said not everyone understands that, but he's happy with what he's got. Not everyone wants to go to these big mods and I am one of those people and IF that ever changes, then I'll take that next step when the time comes.

I'm sure that sounds snoody, but there are two things I've learned while on ECF, 1) you guys are REALLY awesome, you're helpful and kind and it's GREAT for noobs like myself, but 2) I feel like there's been a few people that have really pushed the big mods and as I said, some people really don't want them. I do REALLY appreciate all of the advice!

I've tried other things, but for day-to-day, i like the form factor of the spinners. I like the 650's the best, even over the VV3. I usually vape between 4.2-4.4 volts on a 1.8ohm coil, and the spinner works great for that. I'm always close to a usb or electrical outlet. When i am not going to be for a while, i have the MVP2. They all have a purpose.

I am still waiting go get a Smok epipe + silencer or the Kross epipe, but that is a form factor based purchase. A pipe feels more natural to me over a ego. Since I cannot find a cig-a-like that hits like i want, the pipe is my next logical step. Sometimes you need to try other things to know that what you had was already good enough.

Suit yourself, I fully support that, but I just want to say, there's nothing "big" about mechs or rebuildables, neither in size, nor complexity. Some people just need to go through their own evolution though, and there's definitely something to say for that. I resisted rebuildables for the longest time too, but I'm a believer now. I hope you find the path that works for you.

Thank you, and I really wasn't trying to be snotty or anything. I completely understand that everyone is different and I know that most people find what works for them and think it's great and really stand by that and there's ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with that, it's great and it is helpful. When I first started here I was really needing advice and had some mod pushers and I got so overwhelmed that I almost gave up because I knew I wasn't ready for that. I may be into that later, but right now I'm doing as you said, going through my evolution. I wouldn't be surprised if I do get into rebuilds and such, I love to tinker, but I really am just trying to keep it simple for now. I get into things and end up throwing all of myself into them and I'm actually trying NOT to do that with this since I have so many other projects lol.

To be honest, an iTaste is really not an upgrade to a twist. :) It's only 800mah batt in there so you will be tied the the charger all the time. Other than a window that shows a few things, it's really not diff than what you have.

I would truly consider the sigelei vmax that you mentioned. you can take the batts out to charge and just carry batts. I did not hav ethe mini but here is the full size telescoping next to an EGO in my female hand in 18350 mode..........very nice!~ does a lot of stuff and is not expensive. It is ego threaded and 510 threaded so you can use almost anything on it. Looks great iwth a tank!

Or you could go in an entire different ddirection and try a bottom feeder like REO. :)

It's an upgrade in my opinion. You keep the basically same vv but also gain vw, puff counter, ohm reader and battery voltage readout. Those differences alone are huge to me. Yes the 800mah battery doesn't last that awful long for me. I would try to get 2 if you go this route because they can be had for around $26 a piece and 2 would be good for a day. I have this and the MVP2 and really like them both. If I had to pick just one of the two it would obviously be the MVP2, but the v3 vapes identical to the MVP.

Found this one as well... Found a couple of threads here about this one. I like the fact that it's a 13mAh, but I don't like the fact that I haven't been able to find a lot of info on it, is it just too new right now? Is it older, but not popular? Idk... Any ideas? I do believe it will come down to this or the itaste V3. IF I decide to get a bigger mod for home use I'll talk to the guys at my local B&M about it, but for now I'm just looking for something like this.
NEW SLB eGo-V MEGA V3 1300mah eGo Pass Through - BLACK [gv-SLBMegaV3-BLACK] - $35.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Well I took the plunge! I bought the itaste VV V3 (whatever it's called!), I used it all night last night and then took it back this morning lol. I have the Twist 650mAh, my Twist lasts 2 days, the V3 lasted only about 6 hours! Granted I was using it a little more then normal because I was at the Casino and I was also messing with it, but it made me realize that 1) I paid WAY too much for it! (about $65 total at my local B&M) and 2) I didn't need all that! So I took it back and got 2 1300mAh Spinners. I don't need all the 'stuff', VV is plenty enough for me, for now anyway. Maybe one day I'll be into all the features and functions, but for now, I'm happy with SIMPLE, I NEED simple lol.

All that matters is that you're happy with your purchase. You did pay a LOT for that v3. They can be had for around $26. I agree though battery life isn't the best with them, but they are only 800mah. That's why I recommended you get 2 if you went that route. Anyways glad to hear you're happy. Whatever keeps you off the cigs is all that matters!

Well I went a tad overboard! I got myself a couple more 650mAh twists (which I like better then the spinner I found) and 2 1300mAh batteries (1 spinner and 1 smoktech brand which I actually really like) but then we went to the vape shop last night, I finally got my husband to at the very least put his toes in the water with vaping so we were picking out a tank for him, and while we were browsing I peeked at the sigeli zmax mini again and my husband said 'you stare at that thing every time we come in here, just get it already!' so I did, AFTER buying all the other batteries! So now I have a total of I believe 5 (7 if you count the ones I gave to my husband) twist style vv batteries, 1 none vv battery, 2 protank minis that I can't use, 2 evod tanks that I can't use and now the zmax and @ 8 carto tanks! Now I need to have a vape sale lol. Oh well, it's been a learning experience for sure and hopefully all those batteries and tanks I'm not using will eventually be used by either my mom or husband, if I can get them to stop playing around so much and actually use quit the analogs and dip!
