Upgrade pin for Omega?

I saw someone's classified that had a original nickel version like mine and he said it had a upgraded new version pin in it...
I checked the website but only saw a replacement washer and hotspring listed.

Did I miss a upgrade somewhere? lol

If memory serves it was a replacement. Some of us ( yeah I did it) damaged our pin when we didn't get everything reassembled correctly. Chad was kind enough to replace them. I don't believe it was an upgrade.

Correct, there was no upgrade, just a replacement contact assembly and set screws

I miss alot of posts just to sheer volume the forum gets but I figured I would have seen something on new pins if they had been announced.. so his classified had me digging looking and going "huh?" lol

I seem to remember mention of different style allen set screws now being used, from pointed to oval.
About the time of the big Omega with roached firing pin issue.
Maybe Chad will refresh my memory.

There was no "fiasco", the set screws were changed because some were having issues reasembling the unit because the pointed set screws were boogering up the contact.
