the VV V3 is ego/510 threaded, 800mah, vv-vw, passthrough, and USB chargeable
there is another version that has the pen cap

Oh dear!
My bad, I missed the Ego threading in the description I was looking at.
Yep. I want one.

But if I were to just be content for a few months with the stuff I have, well, Provari!

So much cool stuff. I really do have enough stuff to keep me vaping for a while. Need to get some restraint.

Have half a dozen EVOD tankss, 2 Protank minis, and 3 batteries now. I really need no stuff but I also feel the original poster. New, better stuff = more happy vaping for me.

Yep, serious vape obsession working here!

The standard size ProVari and the Mini Provari cost the same. Same electronics and features, just a different size mods (and batteries).

Baditude I was referred to one of your many blogs by a kind and helpful moderator today. Generally for me it could have been titled along the line of: "Virtually All The Info Tom (me) Needs To Know Before Going To Town & Spending His Money & Then Some"! Your information and the clarity was most helpful and no doubt saved me from spending funds I would have regretted. It was detailed enough yet simple enough so as to not leave me scratching my head wondering what the technical wording meant; I have the experience of a novice minus fifty-per-cent, but I followed along without much trouble. No fanny-homage being performed here mind you --- it really helped ME a lot and I am now on my way and have more of my cash in reserve for the upgrades I am now researching (dare I mention the often discussed P-word power device?).

If any new people care to read the info that was supplied to me by Moderator CARIDWEN it is Baditudes blog and is at this location:

Right now I'm thinking either a Zigelei Zmax V3/5 or the Innokin SVD.

Innokin SVD Express Kit <-------SVD
iTaste MVP Variable Voltage Box Mod (2600mah) <-------ZMax

Both have replaceable batteries, LED displays that have ohm metering and all the other good stuff I'm looking for in a MOD, including 510 and EGO threading. I think I'm leaning more towards the SVD just based on looks. Is there anything else I should really know about either of these? Is the cell phone charging feature on the Zmax really worth it?? I'm looking for an ecig.....not a phone charger.... But I guess that could definitely come in handy!

Also... Has anyone used the Zigelei Legend? Thats also a pretty nifty lookin device

I have a zmax; I can't comment on the SVD; one noteable thing about the zmax is it uses a pause/timeout for you to select things; It has only 1 single button and that button has to do everything; so for example, to set it to display resistance

press 3 times to activate config mode
#1 menu comes up
press
#2 menu comes up
...
...
...
press
#5 menu comes up
wait (this selects #5 menu)
'voltage' show up
press
'Resistance' shows up
wait (this selects 'Resistance' as your choice)

Now it is set to display resistance.

You get used to it, but it can be annoying at first because of the waiting, especially when you first get it and are trying it out.

Also because it is only 1 button, I have found it accidentally changing while I am vaping - have to remember not to multipress when vaping; could also get changed in pocket.

Some of the nice features of the Sigelei Zmax Telescopics: Removable top cap, 510/eGo threading that will never wear out because it is made from one piece of stainless steel and a flush OLED display. I like the one-button control. It has a lock-out feature (Menu Item #1) that prevents accidental pocket firing. The Sigeleis are shorter than the SVD.

The Sigelei Zmax Telescopic V3 and V5 look alike unless the display is lit. The V5 has the cell phone charger accessory and puff counter. Otherwise, the V3 and V5 offer identical features and performance. If you don't want the cell phone charger or puff counter of the V5 then buy a V3 and save a few bucks.

I don't think I'd like the gravity switch on the Sigelei Legend. I haven't looked into the Sigelei Legend 20W.

This is the pBusardo review of the Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic done almost a year ago. Skip the first four minutes. The thumbs up are at 16:50. Phil overtightens the battery tube a bit for 18490. Note that Phil reviews the first generation V3 that doesn't have the removable top cap, the SS 510/eGo threading, the new board and display mountings and the new firmware found on the current production Sigelei Zmax TelescopicV3 and V5.

I went with the Innokin SVD with 2 AW IMR 18650 batts, 2 iClear30's and a TrustFire charger. I ordered the mod from FastTech and it should be here in a week or two. I cannot wait!! Thanks for you all of your help guys!

Battery Chargers. Get the best charger that you can reasonably afford. Statistically most battery incidents occur during the charging phase on a charger. Pila, Xtar, and Nitecore Intellicharger are the highest recommended brands.

That is the exact set I picked up for my wife and myself. It is awesome, especially compared to the cheap batteries. I also recently ordered a vamo V5 as a backup in case one of ours dies unexpectedly(Only $28 usd from fasttech and uses the same batteries).
