OK... So I've ordered me a starter kit (eGo stuff) and some juices to start doing some testing. That's gonna take me some time until I figure what flavors I like from which vendors.

I'll be adding a tank to the mix in no time as well...

And now for a couple questions regarding the "higher end" stuff.

I can't stop looking at the Caravelas. And as far as I know; the original 999 already have owners so getting it direct from Pedro won't happen.
* How scarce are they in the 2nd hand market?

If no original Caravelas are available in the 2nd hand market by; let's say March/April.
* What would be the chances of a total newcomer getting on the list for the Damasteel units? Not quite sure, but I think previous Caravela owners get "priority" treatment (kind of like Ferrari only selling Enzos to people that owned at least three other "Prancing Horses" before).

If the list for the Damasteel units is already filled.
* I remember watching a video review on YT (I think it was P. Busardo); this unit caught my eye because the fire button was not a "mechanical" type button, but some sort of capacitive touch sensor near the top of the unit. I can't, for the life of me, remember the name of the unit and I'd really like to have another look at it. I know it's not the Poldiac; that one has a mechanical button. Does anyone know the name of this "mistery" unit? I've been to Busardo's channel, but he's got way too many videos and I can't tell which one it is.

PS: Oh; one more question/request.
- Is there some sort of "archive" where I can research all the specs of the different connectors? Dimensions, thread specs, etc? I want to do some research for a future DIY unit.

Thanks,
Seebs

The best thing I can tell you on finding the scarce units is to get 20 posts, go through the verification process, it's not bad, then watch the Classifieds. They pop up in there time to time, but you'll usually need to be ready to jump on them because they don't normally sit long!
I've no idea what the new one is, I don't follow them, but I'll try and do some research on it later today.
I'll also do some digging on the dimensions, I can't remember if that is in the Wiki or not?
