Upgrading my E-cig to something better

I'm pretty much a beginner at vaping. I want to upgrade from my first blu kit to something better. I'm trying to decide between Volcano Inferno starter kit and Halo Triton starter kit, and I'm leaning towards the inferno. What I'm looking for in a e-cig is a battery that would last me throughout the day, a simple fill and go system, $85 or less, pretty good vapor production, I don't care about the size or shape, something that doesn't have too many issues (leakage, etc), something that doesn't cost too much in monthly maintenance (replacement parts, etc), and a good throat hit. Which one would you suggest or even another e-cig? Thanks!

I would recommend a kanger EVOD starter kit. really liked mine when i started. comes with 2 batts, 2 evod tanks, charger and a couple extra coils. Can be found on ebay in multiple colors for around $35. Used mine non-stop till a few days ago when i got my first mech and rba.

Agree.
With a bit of shopping $40 all in with some juice to start with and I still use my EVOD starter kit for spares and out and about convenient vaping.

No regrets on that purchase!

Some of the other shiney new things i have gotten, well, not so much.

The evod kit is solid and cheap.

I've not used either but they both look like very good starter kits and having two batteries is always a good idea. I had a Kgo starter kit very similar to both of these and what an amazing difference from the cig-a-likes I originally started with!
Have you considered an Innokin starter kit? Something like the iTaste vv/vw v3 or the MVP 2.0 They are both excellent devices and the vv3 will get you through a whole day and the MVP will get you through two or three days Check 101vape.com I think they are both back in stock and their prices are GREAT

There are many fine cig-a-like kits out there. If the look and feel of a tobacco cigarette is still important to you I would stick with those types like Smoke Stik, V2, Halo, Mig Cig etc. THe larger devices such as EGO or EVOD style give better vapor and last longer between charges. Are you ready for something larger?

I would suggest the MVP v2. It has a 2600mah battery, which will last for days at least for me. It is a box mod about the size of a pack of cigarettes. It really is a steal at $40 and will blow away most kits at the price range. A lot of people around here have one and love it. Just get a couple of extra toppers for it and call it a day.

I am ready for something larger I don't care about the size or shape. I want something with a lot more vapor and a battery that would last me throughout the day.

I don't know the details of those systems other than they are EGo style. However, I would encourage you to get something with regulated voltage output. Otherwise what you will get is like the Blu only bigger- starts out OK then the vapor drops off.

Really, the only downside of the Blu is the switch is a bit stiff and the cartridges hold less liquid- the vapor production is decent.

All of Smokeless Image's products are regulated voltage. LitecigUSA also has regulated and sealed KR808 auto batteries.

I post the same/similar response to this question - often.

Halo? OK... I'll leave them out of this. (No issues myself...)

BUT, Volcano? Almost nobody in the UK uses them (other than newbies). The answer is simple... price.

I found a UK user who had bought a "kit" for £130 ($200?). She was happy enough with it.... UNTIL I broke the bad news that she could have bought identical products for £80 ($130). Identical. (Unless one wants to get into a discussion over a $7 bottle of liquid)

That's the e-cig business. It sucks.

I just ordered a Innokin MVP 2.0 and hoping for the best , what I'm really worried about is the batteries are not replaceable . While it may have a decent life cycle I would rather buy one that you could replace the battery.

The VTR has a replaceable battery but it's pricey, anyone know of one that does have a replaceable battery but is still reasonable. The Evod kit seems like a good deal and it's at least battery replaceable.

You can own one of those too. :)

I have both, no regrets. If I wanted just ONE mod, I'd get a Provari.... but I understand myself all too well. (It's a boredom thing...)

I have just watched a video about the iTaste vv/vw v3 and I am considering it does it come with a tank or something? I'm pretty much a fill and go kind of guy right now.

I bought mine in a kit with 5 x iClear16s. There is also an "express" kit... no clearomisers.

It's a super little battery. I take mine to work at 8.00am every day and charge it up at 7.00pm roughly. It wouldn't do a day, but it has passthrough charging....

Ok because I might be away from a charger throughout the day and need a battery to last.

Just like George said. It's all gonna depend on your liquid, your topper, and some other variables. I just got a Kayfun clone the other day. threw a coil (1.8ohm) some cotton wick and POOF!!!! blowing out clouds like Ive never blown before! I've been vaping for more than a year and never blew clouds like that. I'm not a cloud chaser I say this to con firm that it's gonna be a few different things that make for a great vape. As far as the MVP2 goes....It's all about the vape! The MVP2 is a BEAST in a small package.

I second this. The iTaste MVP 2.0 was my second mod and I still love it just as much as when I got it. I definitly recommend it for someone trying to upgrade. As a box mod it will fit very comfortably in your hand. Has a nice clicky button. Very sturdy feeling. And it's variable wattage and variable voltage gives you more control over the way YOU want to wait. And another plus is that it's a portable battery. It lasts me all day at work even if i have to charge my phone on it. The kit comes with a three pronged usb cable that is it's charger and also used to charge things on it. You can pick up the kit anywhere from 40-60 dollars. The iClear 30 tank that comes with it is very nice as well, my only con with the tank is that it has somewhat of a hard pull. The button has a ten second cut off also. So yes I highly recommend it :D
