Hi all. I'm currently using the V3i cig by jacvapour:

jacvapour.com/basic-kit

With there V3i tanks and they work brilliantly. even more-so now that i got some decent eliquid from vapeclub instead of cheap local stuff.

But i'm wanting to upgrade now to something i can use at home which has a bigger battery and tanks. i know JV do there own but i'm thinking of switching to 510 as there seems to be more options available. My only requirement is that it's an automatic as i just can't get use to manuals.

Something along the lines of:

volcano-ecigs.co.uk/inferno-electronic-cigarette-starter-kit.html

or

halocigs.com/triton-tank-system/triton-starter-kits.html

As before though. it has to be an automatic and ideally have replaceable coils/wicks/tanks etc...

Also, on another note could anyone recommend a decent tobacco eliquid similar to that of UK cigs such as SK's, Richmond, Berkely etc....

Thanks for any advice or suggestions you can give.

You realize that neither of those are automatics, right? Those are both manual batteries.

I I don't know of anything in an automatic that works with tanks. Most tanks let air in through holes in the head, and therefore won't work on an automatic battery (which requires the air to flow through the whole assembly). Also, every automatic I've seen is cigalike size, so you can't really get one with a larger battery capacity.

The V3i doesn't use tanks, those are cartomizers; every automatic I've seen uses either cartos or cartridges (with a separate atomizer).

Good luck on your search, Welcome to ECF!

I know they're manuals. i'm asking if there's anything similar but automatic.

The V3i i have can use tanks. Jacvapour sell them on there website.

gel drops: I might not have given manuals enough time and a lot of people have said they're better i just couldn't get use to it during the time i had it.

I'm currently using:

Jacvapour V3i E-Cigarette
Jacvapour Mini V3i Tanks

They do have larger auto batteries which work with there V3i tanks and they also do an auto Vgo2 which has larger batteries and tanks but these are 808. I have no issues with 808 as that's just the thread type right? I just get the impression most places and hardware use a 510 thread.

I would caution against an automatic, as at some point your tank will leak and mess up the battery. One thing you didn't mention is vg/pg preference and if you prefer a warmer or cooler vapor. Also, what price range do you want to stay in? For example, I use an iclear30s, on an svd battery. But, I also like a warmer vape, use 100% vg and a kit like that runs about $100-$130 usd, depending on where you shop.

The price isn't really a factor (though it is weird that you think about how much you spend on ecigs but never did when buying normal cigs!)

I'm open to experimenting with pg/vg but so far so i've stuck with 50/50. Throat hit and flavour is important though i do want some vapour.

I'm still experimenting with eliquids and found a few i like but none that i could use all day. I see myself having a LOT of barely used bottles as i experiement but i would like to find a decent tobacco one but i cant stand caramel, vanilla etc....

Hi, Fuerte,
Sorry, I didn't see the tanks the first time I looked. And I also misspoke; a lot of the smaller clearos do draw through the 510 connector, and should work with an automatic.

You are correct that the 808 is a rare duck; most things nowadays are 510 or ego threaded. (Actually, for heads, ego is probably the most common; many batteries are compatible with both 510 and ego threads, and you can get adapters that will convert a 510-only battery into a 510/ego compatible one: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1473305 )

I would echo what others have said. Sticking with an automatic will limit you to relatively small fixed-voltage batteries; the draw through them can be pretty tight, and the breath sensor is fragile (particularly if you get any e-liquid dripping into the battery). With a manual you have a much wider choice of batteries, you have better control over the airflow and "heat" and you can use a much wider variety of heads.

However, if you really need a manual and just want something bigger, look here:
Found 95 ego automatic at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

They have some 1100maH automatic batteries which are a pretty good size for that form-factor. This one, for example, has an ego/510 thread:
$7.08 1100mAh Automatic USB Rechargeable Battery with Blue LED Light for EGO-T E-Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

There are some heads I would recommend as a next step. Both of these below have a small airhole at the base, but you can plug that up with the tip of a toothpick and be fine:

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1609800 (CE5-R)

Last, I would strongly suggest you get a good head/battery combination BEFORE you go searching for that all-day vape! Nothing tastes really good on a crappy head!
