to all who have volts:

I have a blu but i heard volts are good. and no drop off.

I was wondering about sealed auto batts? should i just stick with getting the manuals?

and should i go with the 78mm over a 65mm is there a big difference in power?

The accesories look pretty cheap for a volt. And i would get all my cartos/liquid from cheaper sources.

i believe they take any KR808D-1 cartos.

I guess choosing between sealed auto batteries or manuals depends on your preference. Do you want to press a button on each drag, or would you rather puff away like a regular cig? I personally prefer the automatic ones.

Also, the 78mm will last about an hour longer than the 65mm. So if battery life is important to you, I suggest you go with the 78mm one. :2c:

Oh Canada
I agree with ya there Voltron (dam thats a cool name!) Go with the 78mm for sure. Fot the small price difference its well worth it. Now as for the auto or manual question, thats an ongoing debate for sure. I use both on a daily basis personally. If given my choice of only having 1 or the other I'd go with the manual. Only because you can skip the "primer puff" and just hit the button and its ready to vape.

Ps- good job choosing a Volt- great product, great service from smokeless image, and great reliability. Now the choice of exactly what kind of battery to go with is yours.

"I have a blu but i heard volts are good. and no drop off."
True, Volt batteries are regulated to 3.6v which means they will remain at 3.6v output till it's time to recharge.

"I was wondering about sealed auto batts? should i just stick with getting the manuals?"
Preference, I have both and up until the Volt I never found a auto battery I liked however these work great, no lag and no primer puffs needed. I find myself using it more than the manual. My advise is to get one of each and see which you prefer for yourself.

"and should i go with the 78mm over a 65mm is there a big difference in power?"
The 78mm will give you longer vape time in between charges. No difference in power they both output 3.6v regulated. I've got one 65mm that I use when extra battery life isn't a must. I love using it as with a carto it's about the same size as a 100 cigarette and light enough to just hold with my mouth.

"The accesories look pretty cheap for a volt. And i would get all my cartos/liquid from cheaper sources."
You might find them slightly cheaper somewhere else, not a huge difference, SI prices are good. I picked up a pack of 808 horizontal coil cartos from Vapor Kings because I wanted white and they may have been a few cents cheaper, same performance.

"i believe they take any KR808D-1 cartos."
Yes any 808D-1 carto will fit. I do prefer the horizontal coil which come with the kit and sold most other places but that's preference.

yes the latest kr808 batteries are excellent. highly recommend them. i have both sealed automatics from volt (smokelessimage) and unsealed automatics from bloog. a little bit stiffer draw on the sealed ones, but they're good on 808 threaded cartos. to be honest i'm not sure the seal is all that important unless you're dripping. also i've had trouble with 510 adapters on the sealed volt autos. something to consider because there's lots of 510 thread equipment you may want to try down the road.

I think i will definatly go with the longer battery i am getting 2 kits acually one for me and one for my grampa. he tried one i had before and wants to try to quit (hes almost 80 and has been smoking a pack a day for 65 years)

So i want something simple that wont be dificuklt for him to use, Hes not in any way senile or anything but still want the transition to be easy so he sticks with it!

WARNING: I have a few Volt batteries (all are 78mm). They are good batteries but they wil not work with all of your cartomizers. Well, they'll work, but it will be a really tight draw. So unless you get the smokeless image cartos or cartos from somewhere else that are the same as the ones SI sells, you're not gonna want to use 'em. I get Boge cartos and they don't work well with the Volt batteries; neither do the cheap Kanger cartos or the V4L Premium cartos. Other cartos work fine on my SI batteries.

It would be a good idea to get both of those. Just remember that the batts are sealed on the top which means they are drip resistant but not drip proof. Since there are two tiny little holes on the side of the connection pin.

If you want more battery life then the 78mm will be the obvious choice. Only downfall is that you cannot put a fully assembled e-cig in your PCC. Also, DO NOT get the mega PCC since it has horrible charging times. Basically a glorified e-cig case. Also, yes it's a regulated device which means you will get no drop off until it dies on you. But, I wouldn't recommend doing that since you reduce the lifespan of your battery.
