I usually use the Free Postage option (don't think I've had an order yet that wasn't big enough to get the option). However, the choice of FedEx and UPS is a nice one.

The USPS has slipped to the point of not only not meeting their motto, but of not caring, too. Fragile? Could be marked all over and they will still toss the package around. Marked "Do Not Bend?" They will bend it to fit inside a 4x4 mailroom box because it is in their policy to do so. I had one of a kind artwork ruined because of that.

However, FedEx and UPS can have a bad driver day now and again, too. Was waiting for a package once from FedEx I had to sign for. I was tracking it online when all of a sudden it was marked as a "delivery exception - no one at home." Huh? I was sitting less than 20 feet from the door. The driver never even came close. I was on the phone to their delivery department very quickly and the driver had to return on Saturday - a day they do not normally deliver on unless you pay an extortion fee. I would have preferred he'd been sent back after my phone call.

I can't remember if it was UPS or FedEx but they did the same thing to me with time sensitive escrow papers that needed to be returned within something like 72 hours with notarized signatures. I was sitting at home waiting for them and they never even drove up my street. The just put down that I was not home. I was so upset. I had to go pick them up.

As I see all 3 delivery methods, its going to get here when it gets here. All my SI stuff gets here 1 to 3 days later than it should and one of my orders was a full 5 days later. I just wonder why they bother and put an expected delivery date on it...???

I think the only way to win the battle of who delivers on time is to stay ahead of the game by ordering 2 or 3 months supplies at a time. Unfortunately UPS, Fedx and the USPS in yours and everyone else's area are from the same gene pool. I am very fortunate in two respects, one I am very close to SI and two, my USPS mail Lady lives two houses away so if my Vapemail is not delivered I will walk over to her house and make a scene on her front porch. Actually she is very nice and always brings my mail to the door if my car or Motorcycle is in the driveway and more often than not we will chat for a few minutes, that's how us country folks are. Now if I can just get the rest of the slackers at the USPS offices between here and Ohio on the ball I could quit keeping a bunch of inventory. I will say albeit off the thread topic I have bought several different flavors from other folks and I sill prefer the SI stuff hands down and whats a couple of bucks compared to what I was spending on analogs with a two pack a day habit? I could pay for overnight shipping and still be way ahead of the game!

Sitting down, facing forward.
Can't say I have any experience shipping to another country but I have received shipments by mail from China and Europe. A little on the slow side but it always gets here.

I live in a rural area and UPS, USPS and FedX are all great. Packages get placed behind the gate on the driveway or on the front steps. Heck, they all put plastic bags on the packages if it's raining.

I have about the same luck with UPS, Fedex, and USPS. The only problem is they knock, drop, and run b/c they knew I quit answering my door for medical reasons. Now, I do answer the door sometimes, and it annoys me that they put it out of my reach. But it IS delivered reliably!

I would pay to see DHL go down the tubes, though. Absolutely terrible, at least in my area. Haven't gotten a single package on time. Once they "lost" a box for 2 weeks. They swore it was delivered. 2 weeks later, a car load of teens pull up, and the driver brings me the package. I just told her thanks, but I was mortified. It had "we scope people to burglarize" written all over it.

My previous supplier used ups innovations. Which means that you would either get ups or ups would get it there locally, then deliver to USPS who would deliver it to you. It was a horrible system. With SI the shipping system is much more reliable and I get my stuff in about 3-4 days. Where as the other was 7-10. Now with GV, the only other supplier I use, I get stuff in 2 days. But they are very close to me (Houston area to southern Louisiana). It makes me wonder what the hell was going on with the other. And shipping was way more expiencive there than it is at either SI or GV.
