That, in addition most States have "implied merchantability & warranty" protection for you. Basically, something you buy has to perform it's expected function and do it for a reasonable period of time. Sounds like the second one you bought fell flat on both points. Contact the Attorney General in the State you reside in, Consumer Complaint division, for more info and/or to file a complaint. Betting if you even mention "AG" to the place you bought it from things will get resolved pretty quickly.

I count myself among the fortunate few who have never had any problems with equipment I've bought, either online or through my local B&M. [/jinx]

28 bucks aint noting too sneese at these days.

I have wondered why there is such a strict return policy among the PV Venders. I can see juice, but even a poorly working topper, much more an expensive battery. If the darn thing dont work ...it DONT work! I make it a point to check out return policy always. I have lost 25$ in dud items that are unreturnable from USA venders. May be I am the lucky one.

ETA: Dont tell me I dont know how to run an eGo battery!
