That, in addition most States have "implied merchantability & warranty" protection for you. Basically, something you
buy has to perform it's expected function and do it for a reasonable period of time. Sounds like the second one you bought fell flat on both points. Contact the Attorney General in the State you reside in, Consumer Complaint division, for more info and/or to file a complaint. Betting if you even mention "AG" to the place you bought it from things will get resolved pretty quickly.
