Urinalysis and vaping?

Im on probation and subject to weekly UA's. The testing facility I go to just started using an EtG test as part of my drug screens.
I did some research into Etg testing and found that even minute amounts of alchohol (found in ejuices and flavorings?) can come up as positive. I want to be armed with knowledge when I see my PO on thursday, so any information would be greatly appreciated.

i would contact whatever vendor you use for juice and ask them if there is alcohol in the ingredients most wont have any problem telling you
whats in their juice

I am in the Army and take weekly piss test because I popped hot for certain things. I have taken 6 test (3 in one day) in the last month and with heavy vaping, nothing showed up. If I get caught with alcohol or any drugs in my urine I am in some ..... So all my test came back negative but thats just me I am not saying you are clear but that's how things went with mine.

My plan is (if the test is positive) just showing the ecig and juice to my PO, and hope for his acceptance. Maybe they can breathalyze me or something else instead of relying on EtG testing, from what I've read it's prone to false positives from all kinds of things...

I'm not a doctor, but I was a cop for 20 years, and am certified in enough things related to this to have at least some experience. The amount of alcohol your body could ingest through vaping is so minute that it almost certainly wouldn't show up even if you walked in for your test right afterward. The body will get rid of .02% BAC (give or take) an hour. Think you'd need to vape a shot of liquor within an hour before your test (although the lungs are admittedly a more effective source of ingestion than the stomach and intestinal tract).

Thats the problem with EtG testing that even exposure to minute alchohol in hygiene products and such can return positive.
I haven't been drinking so it'll be interesting. Ill report back with results when I get em.

I have never had a problem with drug test and vaping, alcohol would also have been tested.

Just make sure your liquid doesn't contain alcohol and you will be fine. What a PITA

I just had a random drug test (urine) for work and I passed it...if this helps. I didn't even think about mentioning it to them beforehand either.

If you steep your e-liquids with the top off for at least 48 hours, any alcohol used in the base of the juice mix should evaporate.

More wise words from Baditude so true...didn't think about that but, I do steep my e-liquids like that (I believe you may have suggested that to me before).

Got the results today - NEGATIVE so that's that.
