Got my G tank today I was assembling it The 1/8 plastic isolator tube that goes it the top cap of the atty is missing. My first thought was a ink pin filter but that's to big. Dose any body have any ideas on what I could use for a substitute for that part?

Many of us have removed it and don't use it. Just make a thicker SS wick well oxidized and it works better than a thin wick in the isolator. The original is a small piece of teflon tubing.

Ok Thanks for the info. Originally I just assumed it kept the wick from shorting out on the but I looked a little closer and could see it still goes threw some metal even with the isolator. Thanks again!

I manage to get shorts at the coil all the time but never had a short for lack of the isolator (mine came without it as well)

You'll be fine just oxidize
