I think depending on the voltages which "should" be the same the Surefire SF123a's are the same as the CR123a's it's what I've used and they are only around $1.75 each if you buy the 12-packs. I forgot what the shipping costs, but it should be about average. Since I cannot post links just yet, look at the Surefire website.

These are only 3 volt though. Would not work for single 3.6 or 3.7 volt battery mods, unfortunately.

Who would use non rechargeable batteries for a mod anyway? :confused:

Even using the factory auto batteries would end up being cheaper.

Also...prices on that website for anything are pretty scary.

Indeed their prices for flashlights are a bit nutz, but there are some very impressive flashlights they make. I've seen non-rechargeable 3 volt batts running at about $4-5 each so I figured this would be a good suggestion. Now if I had thought that most everyone is using rechargeables I doubt I would have posted at all, next time I'll think before posting hehe
