I had to buy a new usb charger for my Variable Voltage e-cig. The new charger seems to take forever(!) to charge. It took from 5pm until the next morning to charge the battery. Anybody else having trouble?
Do you know what the current rating (amps, or milliamps) is for the new charger? Are you plugging it into a wall-plug, or into a computer or other USB port? What kind of e-cig are you using? Why did you need to buy a new charger in the first place? How long have you had the e-cig?
If you could provide this kind of info it would be a lot easier to help.
Right so this is what I am talking about: Vapor Zeus Variable Voltage USB Charger | Electronic Cigarette | E-Cigs by Vapor4Life
it's a usb charger and i plugged into my laptop. the charger is made for the V4L variable voltage e-cig. My old charger usually took approx 5 hours to charge from empty to full. Unfortunately I broke the old charger, when I stepped on it by accident. Not sure how often I charged my e-cig yet, but it's less than 6 mos old.
I got an answer to my question, and post it here in case somebody else has the same issue. The Variable Voltage battery came until recently with a rapid charger (usb cable). V4L seemed to have discontinued this out of security concerns and now offers only a standard charger. That means, while before it took only 4, 5 hours now it takes in excess of 12 hours to charge.

The usb charging cable we supply with the Variable Voltage battery is a fast charger rated at 420mA. The standard usb charger for stick batts is 150mA.
You can easily check to see which one you have by looking for the Output DC Current rating on the cable. It should be 420mA. We have not discontinued this and it is a safe charge rate for the VV batts.
The 150mA charger you have is meant for stick batteries. It will be very slow to charge a VV Batt.
The 420mA charger meant for use with the VV batts can be found here:
