I have powered 7 port hubs. They are glued to the wall and the bricks are kinda inaccessable so I can't really answer your question.

i use these particular hubs because I can turn off the ones I am not using. Makes system boot faster since drivers don't have to load till I need them.

USB Ports are the new floppy drives (if you're old enough to remember those days)

No. You need a powered USB hub. Passive hubs won't cut it.

Maybe. Depends on the battery and how closely spec'd that adapter is. XLs? Probably not. Shorties? Yeah. Regulars? Border-line.

Your better bet is probably to use a decent sized inverter in the truck, at least a good 90 watter, and then use AC wall adapters instead.

I need to attach about 4 USB chargers to a hub and then to my USB 12V Cig Liter Adapter in my Truck.

Will any USB hub work?
Will the V4L USB 12V adapter handle charging 4 batteries?
When will V4L come up with Multi-Charging solutions?

Thanks in advance for answers to any of the questions.

No. It has to be at least 500mA per charger.

Maybe. The adaptor is rated up to 2amp, which is enough in theory, but most auto cigarette adaptors don't put out that much current.

And we're working on it, but we want it to be perfect! :thumb:

EDIT: correct amp rating.
