USB Chargers

I have 2 USB chargers from the first week of January, 2010. One has no wire, just plugs in and has a red led that turns to green. The other one has about a 12" wire with a red led that turns to blue.

Both are not showing any lights and the batteries are not flashing (both charged and uncharged) when plugged in. Do these things go bad?

Any suggestions?

Have you made any OS changes? Sounds like the computer deciding to shut down the port.

Yeah, my thought, when you said they both started this, was the port as well. Do you have another usb port you can try? One in a wall plug or car adapter?

No changes to the OS. I did try other ports with the same results. Sorry I forgot to mention that the charger with no wire stopped working a couple of days ago and I switched to the one with the cord. That one worked for a couple of days and stopped this afternoon.
