USB charger question

Just got my second v4l order -- a couple of clearance batteries, a usb charger, and a passthrough to replace my v2 one that died over the weekend. Just got the ship notice last night and it's already here today. Super fast...

So I plugged the usb charger into my cablebox USB port to start charging a battery. But the red light has a little blue flash periodically...almost like a strobe. Is this normal? Or should the light just be plain red until it's charged? Just don't want to hurt it...I need this puppy to last!

Could it be that the battery you are charging is almost completely charged? Mine tends to flicker a bit at the end of a charge (before staying at blue/charged).

I think that's normal. The more charge in the battery the longer the blue color until it stays all blue when it's fully charged.

The quick blue flash has been mentioned quite a few times. I've never found the explanation but it appears to be normal. Mine does it too. Hope this helps!

The V4L batts come with some charge already on them so that could be why.

its actually kinda cool. when the batt is dead the light is red...but as it charges is slowly starts going over to blue until finally its just blue! lets you know when its about done!

edit: btw I love how the newer usb chargers have a longer chord!
