Not a hub, but a 4 port wall wart.

Unless the hub is externally powered, it's likely not going to provide enough power to charge more than one at a time anyway. PC specs define the USB2 port as 5 volt - not problem there - and about 500 mA. And ego charger can go as high at 450 (well, the only ones I've seen), so one would top it out.

Over driving the port or hub could be catastrophic to your PC. That could be from too many devices on the hub, or a failure in either the charger or battery.

I have a belkin also like a 100 years ago when flip phones were just starting to get internet and laptops were ridiculously high I ruined one charging my phone on a laptop since then I decided 20$ for a usb port is cheap insurance. I had one of my USB ports fried by a ego charger it will still charge but not send information threw it to my puter.

I use a Belkin 4-port hub to charge all mine and my wife's kit. I would make sure to get a powered one to make sure you can get enough juice. If you are worried about killing the port on your computer, you can always unplug it from the computer while charging. Side benefit of not having to plug into your USB port if it is in an hard to get to place on the box. Additionally, you don't ever have to plug it in to the computer if it is only for your e-cigs.
