USB Pass-through Question....

Would my 901 USB pass-through work better with this:

instead of plugged into my laptop? More power, consistent, etc?

I never seem to get much more than 4 volts out of my laptop. At 5V, 1 amp, I would think this device would be better than your laptop USB port. Even if your pass-through has a cut off, you should get good hit with the 1 amp of current. Great price, too.

I use the usb wall plug from my phone with my passthrough and notice a slight difference. For $5 it's worth it.

At 5v / 1amp, you should be OK. I bought one from Best Buy, and when I got it home and opened it, I found it only put out 2v. It's back in the bag for return.

I'm using a car plug, plugged into a 110v adapter. The car plug is 5v / 850 milliamps. Works fine, so the 1 amp will do ya.
