Usb passthrough for Tornado

Hello everyone, I have been using a tornado for a while now and I really like it but I mostly use it at my computer and Im always charging the batteries and I just realized that it would be sooooooo Much nicer to have a Usb passthrough to use while Im at the computer.

Is there any that I could use with the tornado? I dont need it to charge the battery I just want something to power the tornado while im at the Pc so I dont have to keep wasting battery power while im at the computer.

and what would be involved in making one if I cant find one? Would I need a resistor or anything or could I just use a usb cable chop an end off and solder it to a adaptor like you get with the tornado to charge it you know the little extension piece.

The tornado uses the 510 atomzers and carts so I would just use the old school PT with the battery box. Hold up a sec and I'll find one and link it.

ugh harder to find than I thought, it seems most retailers have switched over to the no battery box type. I don't know if there is any difference but my impression was the battery box type is safer to use on your pc.

Check out the Janty subforum. I'm sure I read on there somewhere that an ego passthru was in the pipeline.

mind you , any 510 passthrough will work . I made my own from a car cigarette lighter plug like Mr. Dibleys ones :

costs about £5 to make

just to add , if you use or make one without the in-line battery ( you'll get 5 volts then ) it's best to plug it into and externally powered USB Hub.

So the battery that goes into the passthrough isnt the actual 510 battery? SO I dont need a 510 battery then, I can just by the passthrough and put my atomizer on it?

yes, just get the PT and use the atty use use on the tornado...i got my PT from cignot
