USB Passthrough, what does it come with?

Hello,

I want to know if a USB passthrough comes with the e cig battery that you would put a cartomizer or atomizer and cartridge on?

Is it just the cable and you have to buy the battery, carto's or atty's and carts seperatly?

I really need something different than my xhale 02, and I don't have enough to buy a starter kit right now, so I'm wondering if I buy, say a 510 usb passthrough, would that come with a 510 battery and the usb cable, then all I would have to add to it would be carto's or atty's and carts?

yes if you get an in line passthrough or a straight passthrough.. you will be able to connect your atties/carto's to them

I have a USB pass through for the KR808D-1. It plugs into the USB port of my computer and I add a carto or atty and cart to it. But it does not have an actual battery. It only works in place of a battery when plugged in. This is an automatic-type pass through.

I also have a sit-and-go USB pass through for a 510. I can use it either as a pass through while it is plugged into the USB port or I can disconnect it and use it as an independent battery because it charges/recharges while plugged in. Like the other, it also uses a carto or atty and cart. This one is a manual-type pass through with a button. Because all my carts and cartos are 808 or 901, I have an adapter that I use with it.

If the 510 PT is unplugged from a power source, you'll only get the charge (as long as it lasts) thats in the 'INLINE" battery, if you dont have the PT with an inline battery, its dead when you unplug it. The PT without an inline battery is only a usb wire with a battery housing and a switch, so its pretty much useless when its not plugged in. 510 PT's will work with all 510 atties, adapters can be purchased to use your kr808 or 903 , or buy their PT for that model.
Alternatviely, and this may be what you need, is a EGO USB Battery , it is a 650mah battery that has the connector to charge built into the end of the battery, it can also be charged with a standard ego charger, its the best option for charge and go as well as being a Pass-Thru.

It will come with a charging/PT cable when you purchase the EGO USB battery.

Thanks everyone for your responses. It's somewhat hard to tell on some of the e-cig supply sites I've looked at, if the USB passthrough was just the cable to connect to a battery, or if it was a cable with a battery, or if it was just something I could connect a carto to, but wouldent hold a charge off the computer.
