USB to 12v cigarette adapter

Does anyone know if the car charger adapter for the Npro can be used with other usb chargers? Says it's output is DC 5v 500ma

As long as the current draw of the charger is less than 500ma is should be fine. I use 510's and the standard usb charger is only 150ma and the 510 eGo usb charger draws 420ma. Both would work fine. So, as long as the charger you want to use draws less than 500ma you will be ok. Some simple usb pass-thru WITH in-line batteries will work with no problem. Some without the battery may draw too much current for that adapter. I hope this helps.

Thanks was thinking of getting a Riva 510 as a back up and wanted to be able to take that on the road with me when we visit in-laws etc.. So wanted to be able to charge in the car. Is the eGo the same as the Riva?

Yes, I have both and the parts work on both. I also have the eGo usb version. It has the 650ma battery in it along with a built in charging circuit. The end cap comes off to reveal the usb port for charging. It can also be used as a passthru. The Vapor Pro has them for $19.99 but I think they are out of stock at the moment. Vapor kings also have them for $24.95 and they are in stock. There are others in China that are a little less but after shipping and assuming they get through customs, it is cheaper to get them from a US supplier.
