Are there any plans to create/sell a USB/AC charger which can charge more than one battery at a time? A hub, as it were. And, in the meantime, can anyone suggest a safe USB/AC charger that can just plug directly into a socket and charge two or more batteries at a time or a PCC and (a) battery/ies? I'm trying to avoid long cords for travel.

Thank you

I've approached this idea before, but couldn't get manufacturers interested. There is one like that for 510 batts, and frankly the manufacturer never sold many, few retailers picked it up, and so other manufacturers have not copied it, and weren't interested in making a KR8 version for me.

I think the reason few retailers went for the 510 version is that it has a relatively high price point, and therefore the end price would be high. It wouldn't be a big seller, since while many people on these forums would like it, most of our customers aren't e-cig hobbiests and enthusiasts like we are. Most customers are more like mainstream smokers, and just want batts that work reliably and a regular supply of cartos. Not all the other accessories, PCCs, PTs, etc. Even liquids are a smaller percentage of sales relative to the basics.

And of course, it's easy enough to get a powered USB hub, like the one Snowdog recommended, and put a few chargers on it. Or if you really do want a dedicated multi-charger, you could hunt for the 510 version and use 510 to KR8 adapters.

As for us, I would still like to revisit the idea, and probably will at some point later in the year, but right now our R&D budget and my time have been soaked up on a handful of exclusive products I have been working on, inclding one which is my true labor of love, a new e-cig system which has features that NOONE else has and which will be 100% exclusive to Bloog, which was all my idea and mostly my own designs, working with their designers and engineers to bring my ideas to fruition.

And those are coming along nicely, and just a tiny bit over the time deadlines I gave, so should be debuting by late spring, instead of early to mid spring like I'd hoped. When I say 2012 will be the year of the Bloog, I MEAN it!! :thumb: :D

I use this hub
Newegg.com - Rosewill RHB-330 7 Ports USB 2.0 Hub with Power Adapter

works great.

it plugs into your computer, and has an ac adapter too. the 5 ports on the top are powered, and have an on/off switch. two other ports on the side are not affected by the switch.

Yeah.
I really do hope Leaford can pull another technological leapfrog like the MaxxFusion launch was.
Back in Dec 2010 when it was launched, it represented a huge advancement from any 808 system available.
At the time, LiPo cells, the new auto switch, the regulation, the cartomizer, etc, we're simply miles ahead from any mini.
6 months latter, and the competition was catching up, either by tapping into Bloog suppliers or by copying the technology.
It won't be easy to replicate such a leap, so let's just wait and see what will come out of Leaford's efforts.
