I'd like to see some opinions on whether my M401, or any e-cig, charges faster and safer in the wall charge or the usb port on the computer. I've read that usb ports can burn out and I certainly don't want that to happen. So far, in my short time with a usb charger, it seems that way actually charges faster. But that may just be my imagination.
I did the "Search" and found nothing on this.

I have stopped using my computer with my 801 passthrough and charging of batteries. i bought this usb adapter that plugs direct in the wall and purchased a couple of usb charging adapters to fit my 801 manual battery.
The first time i plugged my passthrough into the computer, the passthrough didn't shut off, then didn't work, thought i blew out the port. did a restart and pulled out the passthrough. Since plugging the passthrough into the usb adapter, i have NOT had any issues, that would be around 2 months now..
I also charge the batteries in this instead of the wall charger that came with my 801 pen style kit. It does seem faster to me, and this method serves me two ways. I cannot post a link because i am a newbie... but you would do a search for a USB Power Adapter. Find the right site and it costs all of 2 dollars, so the price won't break the bank.
Hope there's something here that helps you.
